I'm just dying to know a lot of things. Like namely, did Gerry Merch himself build this monster, or is it a bolt-on? So if the regular aspirated 120 produces 110 horsies, what does THIS put out? Without the nitrous of course. And how can the owner stay on top of it. I've got a Merch 120, and it's just dyin' to leave me on the road dyin'! The only things I wish for on mine is to have had the plant harmonically balanced, (it's shaken off no less than 3 sets of mirrors) and to have had it rubber mounted in the Rily oil-in-frame it's in. And lastly, and certainly not leastly, how much eez costink?
Gerry merchant still consults a little but Merch Performance the company took most of his stuff over. I have a 131CI Merch motor and spoke to Gerry personally not very hard to contact him Merch in my honest opinion is top class
@@MidnightTok3r420 Thank you for a couple of things - namely, Gerry's complete last name! Merchant! THAT makes sense! I couldn't for the life of me get a handle on Merch! So he is ze French mahn. Now I get it. The other thing was I wasn't aware that he'd kicked it up a notch in engine size to catch up with H.D. So what's your 131 rated at HP wise? You should post a video letting us see and hear yours. We'd all love to hear that big jug chug!
@Vaughn Macmillan Merch stepped up to i believe there making a prototype may have released it but I haven’t heard anything. It was a 140CI rated at like 195hp 203ft/rq and mine when I spoke to him we went by the serial number on the motor to judge the year and mine was built in 2005 and it’s stage 3 specs are 135whp and 145ft/rq I inherited the bike from my dad we built it together when he passed I’ve kept it cause where I live it’s the only Merch motor in my whole city
They released there first 131 in I think 96 or 97 but these motors where designed and made for Harley’s certain motors are a straight drop in deal like the 131 will pretty much go right into a road glide/street glide. I consider these 131s to be better then the Harley’s screaming Eagle version of a 131 I rode a 2021 with a 131 screaming Eagle does not feel the same as a Merch motor.
I’m gonna post some videos soon on it due to the fact that all Merch videos I’ve found are 6-7 + years back but if you need any info you can message me or what ever I don’t know everything about them but I did pick Gerry’s brain for about 45 mins on the phone there a big bore big stroke motor 4.25 bore 4.25 stroke stage 3 all billet and Merch Performance parts
Insane.....more work needed to get the rest of the bike to handle all that output. A few failures just waiting to happen. But it sounds good. But then why wouldn't it?
who and what is Merch? i have a roadstar with this same magnacharger on it, luckily ive only had 1 minor issue i was able to fix myself, but ive put 11,000 km on my set up with almost 0 issues. Basically im just looking for more information on these supercharger kits as i never see them in person.
How are these magnachargers on an evo? I had one on a twin cam and it it was a poorly designed piece of shit. EVERYONE I talked to who tried to run one on a twin cam had major issues and the dick head who owns the company wouldn't stand behind it.
atleast give it a fuckin twist, thats why most of us came to look and hear
The sound is enough to justify making one !!!!!
Supercharged w/nitrous...suicidal yeah!
Lol nice and no water
How far can you ride it before the heat cooks you ?
@dougVtwin magnachrager
if your gonna run a blower runa a procharger. I have had both and the procharger makes alot better power around the board
bad ass.

If you've been in the business as long as I have, you've seen MERCH come and go. And they left for a reason. Thank GOD.

@dougVtwin magnachrager
well, where is the intercooler? This is just another big money showbike....
Maybe the nitrous is the cooling or it has 6lbs boost and doesn't need it or a minimum Bmep. There's more ways run this stuff but I think it's groovy.

single disc on a blown 120? fail
@Garrett Zwart well 99% it ain't gonna get outta hand and I prefer my bikes stop as good as they go. Your mileage may vary.
It's not at all about stopping.....who the fuck looks at this bad ass bike and says: "I wonder how fast it'll stop?" LMFAO!!!
