I would like more information on Vermic 3.2 system. My family has a farm and we are interested in your system including the management of the compost inputs, temperature control, outside pest control and harvesting techniques.
Excellent observation! I had the same question some time back, and I started researching this: The beauty about this open system is, since the worms stay at the top, it can still be kept quite moist up there. What makes this soil/compost so rich is, that no water (worm tea) is dripping out from the bottom. It all stays in the compost. When it's completely dry in the lower part, it's very easy to harvest the compost. The worms will not be disturbed and in return they will work 24/365 for you.
Hello i want to try vermicompost this year. I have one question, can I use Asian jumper worm , instead of using the other worms which people normally do? The reasons is because i have lots of jumper worm in my garden.. Your answer will be appreciated , Thankyou
Very professional & efficient looking system, excellent work. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you have a flaw with your system. One of (if not the) biggest benefits of worm castings is the microbiology that they contain, once they castings dry out, however those beneficial microbes die & the benefits they provide are lost. So I would HIGHLY recommend that you harvest the castings while they are still moist & biologically rich, otherwise they will essentially be no better than the standard thermophilic compost you feed the worms. Again, please correct me if I'm wrong here?
This looks so cool but clearly its not just castings falling through the flow through system. And if giant chunks of wood chips are falling through then so are the worms, cocoons, and other stuff that still will have to be separated through another sifting/ harvesting system. Seems to defeat the entire point of the flow through.
Hi VermiGrand, Great setup. Very impressive. You Dutchies are so smart. I have 2 questions please. 1- the hoses going in the end of the setup are they water hoses or air? And what causes your dry casting product to fall out the bottom of you setup?, vibrators?
I want to export vermi compost in usa i countinue doing work and get good results in all vegitables so if u want you can also purchase from me from india

@@maggew microbes are actually aquatic , they require water, they dry it out to make processing easier. It’s a fine balance but this looks to dry for optimum microbe population which is the most critical component of castings.
That is the best introduction to a video that I have seen in my whole life. No joke.
@samann95014 The food for the worms is thermophilic compost made from lucerne (alfalfa) and horse manure with straw bedding.
Amazing. Now I feel my 8 foot long worm bed isn't quite big enough.
pfalconology size does matter !
where can one see the undercarriage of the bends to understand how the casting fall to the ground

Hello, what is the name of that tool for spreading manure at that height? Thank you
Sir ji. Nice. Job🎉
what's the straw material (earthworm's food) you are using?
how works the harvesting system?? do you move the beds ?? or simply the compost falls to the floor??? thanks
your system is amazing! Very interesting thank you!
how are you re-collecting worms after finishing the compost making?
Your castings look very dry. They are supposed to be kept damp in order to keep the bacteria alive. Are they as dry as they look?
Excellent observation!

For ease of downward movement of product
Make the bin slightly tapered towards the top maybe 2 cm
what kind of scoop machine is that? i need to get one of those. i shovel so much compost everyday!
It's a joystick controlled straw blower that works by hydraulics mounted to the front of a fork lift.
What kind of elements and conditions required for most productive fertilizer and what kind of nutrients contain
Can you share about your worm farming system through a more specific video? thank you
Brilliant and impressive, can i know about feeder machine you use? The name and capacity
Awsome! Good to see how the pros do it =)
Thanks
I would like to connect with you to discuss your model and how we could include it in a rural agro-forestry project in Limpopo province, South Africa.

William C83 there might also be a loss of the soil structure of the worm castings in the sifting
1Bubbles100 Very possible, however do you mean in terms of the biology or the actual structure of the humus itself?
I agree that those castings look all dried out and therefore ruin the whole reason for making them.
thank you for the video
Hello, I would like to purchase the flow through worm bins how much do they cost
@VermiGrand why both ?

Hi...
I am from india.
Do you need vermicompost of good quality
200m2 500m3
Может быть они имели ввиду площадь помещения 200 м2 ?
💪💪💪👍👍👍
It not a fertilizer actual it a compost
Eisenia fetida and eisenia andrei
Its completely dried form
Its literally dusty. That's not good for the microbes.
