Mr Teo you look mighty proud while you are building this, you have a right to be! Your construction skills are amazing to me. Amazing job, amazing model!
in 1952 My Grandfather Bought an E boat at a Government surplus auction in the UK it was E69 as a Kid we had a holiday on it in 1952 , The hull construction was Baltic Pine planks in two layers with a waterproof membrane in the middle and I think there were 8 watertight Bulkheads One engine room had 2 Engines and and the other, one , Both Had rows of Skylights ............In the North sea storm in 1953 , it was a Constructive total loss washed about 1 mile inland Near Brightlingsea in Essex I still have a few pictures from my mothers photo album , and we still have the engineroom Telegraph in the Family Too I could send you some picures as I have Scanned them Cheers Bn
That's a very nice hull you've built there. Are the top of the ribs going to be cut away for a very large RC bay or will you have to work around them?

Hi Teo, amazing work on this beautiful ship. What is your progress? Now I beginning works on the same model (S-38) and I trying to make some drawings in 3D (Rhinoceros) as templates for build. Today I fighting with upper deck and torpedo tubes. Pls can you tell me, how you done these parts? Do you have upper deck "horizontal" and main deck a little bit curved? So it means, upper and main deck form an tiny angle? sorry about my bad english
well done a very nice hull did you use epoxy or polyester resin?, where did you get the hull profile section drawings? ive been looking for them for a build of my own.
Hi there Jason I used West System epoxy for the hull. I've had very good experiences with epoxy and find it is more suited to modeling (in my opinion) then polyester resin. My father is the main model-maker for the Vancouver Maritime Museum, and he has an extensive collection of plans that I have access to. You can contact him through his website (www.transylvanian.com) if you wish and email him for the plans. He may sell them to you. And thanks for the kind words!
va voir ma vidéo sur la construction de mon s-boot et mon système de propulsions qui génère environ 500 wattes de puissance mais qui consomme trop d'ampérage . le titre de la vidéo (RC boat builder) sur ma chaîne
