@@CGVisualsVFX that would be amazing!! I have a question. If i want to make the fire hits a wall how can i do that? Good luck making the air bending!!!
@@alexrios2000 I would just find a suitable asset from somewhere and do some compositing. Once you have that fire set up play around with it maybe set the emission type to a disk to create an impact effect.
This is crazy. You are crazy. But I'm happy I did it, it was one hell of a ride. Please please please don't make the explanations this fast if you can. But it was amazing, thanks. One of the best things I had to create in AE ever.
That's great to hear, yeah a lot of people say that actually, this tutorial was supposed to mark the beginning of a series but then I postponed that to work on Trapcode Elements, once I get that done, I plan to restart this series and redo this tutorial with better FX and better explanations.
@CG Visuals #VFX Do you have any opinions on how Particular compares to Stardust, especially when it comes to these fire and water simulations you're doing?
I haven't actually used Stardust, but I have been following its development and it looks very promising. There are more features like volumes and using 3D rendered obj's as particle sprites so potentially it could do more. I don't know if they are planning on adding a fluid engine like Particular, but I certainly hope so.
hello, your tutorials are fanstastic, unfortunately I got stuck in a passage. The moment the animation effect is inserted on the Fire Particles layer, its position is automatically translated and I cannot correct it without damaging the entire composition. What can I do ?
Just practice getting the basic set up to work with the null objects before adding all the effects, find the part in the tutorial where the rig is set up and go through set by step again
@@CGVisualsVFX Thanks I managed to correct it I think. I have another problem that haunts me, when I create precompositions, and the amount in other compositions, I don't see anything unless I open it.
Why are my sprites so small when I add the sprite comp to the Texture? I had to increase the initial size to 700 just to match in size to the tutorial.
Great tutorial! Next time though, it would be great if you turned the background audio track down a bit. I found it a bit loud and it seemed to overwhelm your dialog
Can you use the up to date version of after effects because due to this being outdated there are many things that are different when I try to make this effect and the effect doesn't look as good as yours
this guy is seriously underrated!!!
Finally ! I find this and a lot easier to follow,
Thank you for your great work!
Brilliant looking forward to seeing your next FX project!
Wow! Thank you for finding the time to share your knowledge and skills with us. Truly appreciate it!
really good, as always, good job and thanks for all your incredible fire tutorial!!!
Thanks, I'm gonna spend today working on some Air Bending tests, just so it's not all Fire and Water lol

@@CGVisualsVFX but it's not possible to create that phisics into a flamethrower? create a wall instead a floor. you understand me?
i mean inside only one trapcode particular layer
I've always wanted this. Thanks
Happy to help, thanks for watching :)
Amazing as always!!!! :)

Good job zack
Thanks, "I'll see you in another life brother"
This is 🔥🔥
amazing my dude, keep up the great work!!! :)
Thank you, glad to hear it
some really great tips Thanks a lot!!
Waited for this for so longgg, I fill like i own you money now xD
amazing!!!
hundreds times better than the last airbender movie effects. question: what would you do different for shooting it from a hand?
That could work if you made the motion path come straight out of the hand.
Amazing tutorial !!, It's so much helpful to me. thanks a lot~!
So very very cool... I mean Hot
Now there's too much Fire and Water on my channel, I need to mix it up with some Air!!!
@@CGVisualsVFX oh yeah...that sounds great
I wish u had the background in the download back, but still great job

Is it possible to have a Trapcode Particular for Fusion?
As far as I'm aware Trapcode Particular is exclusive to After Effects

Make sure the sprite layer doesn't have collapse transformations, in your layers panel if you see a star icon in the second checkbox just uncheck it
@@CGVisualsVFX thanks so much

Is there a easy way to make it smaller. When I use it in 3d track it's to big.

The fire is so small when the particle size is set to 50 also when I set it to 500. Is it possible to add project with download to compare. Thanks
The settings in the tutorial should produce the same results, but feel free to experiment with the values as your shot might look different.
@@CGVisualsVFX I changed alot of values but it doesn't look like yours. Changed the distance, the camera, the picture set to 500px, ....
What was step 2 again?
how can I get those "Tutorial Files"?
oh god
You can use this for a laser effect
It could easily be modified into something like a heat beam, or a flame thrower, yes.
omg. too much things to learn.. i love doing this.. but seems to be hard for me😭
Yes it does blaze through quite a lot of techniques, it's quite an ambitious effect to be honest
The effect of Fire is superrealistic and so cool, but lack of impat for background is kind'a make it look fake.
I actually improved the fire shader and there is a preview in the community tab, it has more thickness and it's less glowy
You should add ice bending. just saying :D

i do this in my i7 2nd Gen GTX 560M 💀
