Summary: 1. Angles: Check common angles, especially if you've died 3x to the same one. Don't forget about them, re-check them once in a while. 2. Positioning: In tandem with angles, know when you're exposed or not. Take note of where's cover. 3. Quick Peeking: Jiggle check each common angle. 1st check is for info, 2nd is for swinging. 4. Bad Crosshair Placement: Place crosshair at head (or neck) height when checking each angle. Don't just use your eyes. Hold a bit away from the angle to prepare for swings. 5. Wrong Leaning: Stop shaiko peeking if you don't know how. Lean on the good side. Most cases: Lean left if looking left, and vice versa. 6. Not Moving when Shooting: Don't just sit still, you're an easy target. Shoot, move a bit, repeat. Make them re-adjust their crosshair. 7. Don't Un-ADS randomly when on site. Keep ADS-ing and peak angles properly. 8. Staying in 1 Place: Following your team is good, but if you guys can't walk up, don't just sit there. Find another opening i.e., window, wall, wtvr and try and pinch the enemy. 9. Putting yourself in a crossfire: Do not sit in a corner or run through multiple peak angles. The enemy will just hold a crossfire. Push where you know there's certain cover behind you. 10. Awareness: Pay attention to what your teammates are doing. Pay attention and react to each sound queue, kill, death, etc. 11. Avoiding Gunfights: Some gunfights you need to take, do your job or rotate. Especially important when clearing a Power Position. 12. Not finding an opening: If 2 players a roaming far from site, just push elsewhere! Less players in the obj. Vice-versa if you see 5 in site and no one roaming. 13. Wasting time: Stop tunnel visioning. Don't drone 6 rooms ahead. Take map control room by room, and play for kills prior to planting. 14. Isolating gunfights: Do not put yourself between 2 or more people's angles. Take 1 gunfight at a time if you can. Especially important if they have more players up. 15. Bad Droning: Check your corners, don't check too far from yourself, check traps and cams. Take control. SImilar to point 3. The difference between champ and emerald (like me for example) is their consistency in avoiding all these little mistakes EACH game. Mechanically we are somewhat similar (ofc there's always some aim/movement gods or freaks, but siege is more than that even in this TDM-ish meta). Good luck everyone. My game sense is super bad, but when I was watching this video and I make sure im doing the tips I suddenly feel like I know a lot more about everything thats going on compared to if i was just playing normally.
be careful not to overthink and apply everything at once. take it round by round, like if you know how you died round one and you go same sight adjust and make sure that doesn’t happen again (operator choice, wall not reinforced etc)
In game you are stressed, tunnel visioned or not confident. Avoid all of these and you play so much better since you know most of the tips in the video❤️
