We truly love taking the time from our days to get out and take a peaceful stroll through the city. In many ways we view it as a meditation.
Went to Toronto a few times some years ago. Liked my stay there, though it's more of a place I'd visit rather than live in. Chalk it up to its size and hustle-and-bustle nature.
Toronto has some beautiful suburbs and scenery. I love walking down Bloor Street.
Bloor Street is one of those amazing roads in Toronto that transforms every kilometre. It's such a joy to walk and wander.
Toronto is BOMB! I miss that pace so much.

Yea and the funny part is how much more I see but sadly cannot capture on camera. It usually takes people a few seconds to get the courage to react and by time they do, they are out of frame.

Toronto is one of the coolest places that most people never visit. Every week is a new festival, every street is a different world, and the people are some of the kindest you'll encounter on the road.

Fabulous walking tour. As a 22 year downtown resident my only big complaint is the insane amount of space given up for cars. Hopefully, those 4 lane roads will be re-built as 2 lane roads to accommodate adequately wide sidewalks. Build downtown for the people who actually live here rather than suburbanites who don't live here. If they want to visit, they can hop on the subway, streetcar, cycle, or walk ..... just like the rest of us.

Couldn't agree more. The amount of parking in Toronto is out of balance with the people and the city. Plus what we see on the surface is only a piece of the massive parking puzzle.

I can assure you that i saw more foreigners than native english people, must be because they all went to australia. Besides that, canada is a expensive country, therefore all people involved, especially the foreigners deserve respect for being able to afford their life in toronto. Its not just the food, any kind of economic category has a higher consequence to be conducted, compared to other countries, so canada is definitely not easy, as monetary means.
