If your TikTok privacy settings aren't letting you send DMs or let people comment on your videos, duet, adjust ad settings, etc. I walk you through how to change all those privacy settings on the app. There are some defaults that you can't change depending on your age if you're under 16 or over 16. However, you can adjust lots of things to either make your account more private or more public. This process works the same for iPhone and Android in 2021.

On each of my individual video I go to 3 dots on the right where I can link or share my clip with friend as well as go to the privacy setting button where I see my choices to allow only friend or everyone, under it, it shows if I want to allow comments, allow duet, allow stitch but it doesn't have the allow share video button, it had it before, is this correct?

Can you hide chats between people so if someone gets your phone they can’t see what you have been texting. This is mainly with friends or when following someone.
