If anyone wonders what happened, I'll just copy here my take on it:
That location at the Sun is some kind of "default" location - latitude and longitude of 0 at the root celestial body (not shown in video, but the coordinate is reported as such in map view). Some failsafe probably sets the location to this when it encounters an invalid value. The invalid value was somehow generated by a combination of the physics of a free-pivot claw grabbing onto something & the "freezing" of physics while warping. Note how the thing we grabbed is missing after the teleportation!
Game tries to freeze physics of dangling thing => freaks out => position calculation spits out invalid value => invalid value is transformed into a default value possibly to avoid more catastrophic bubbling of the error (like the nullspace / Hell kraken bug) => landed at the sun at latitude & longitude of 0.

I feel this needs to be tested at the apex rotation that the sun is located on the opposite side of Kerbin... then you'll... uhh... probably go faster than the warp-light drive you made last year.
10^24m/s does not qualify as teleportation. It would take 3 minutes to reach the edge of the observable universe. Not good enough.
I mean, it's pretty good for only enduring 1.2 gs of acceleration.

In case anyone cares, the speed Danny is going at about 2:48 looks like 1652892801576440000000000 m/s which divided by the speed of light (2.998 x 10^8 m/s) means that, if I did my math right, for a split second Danny was traveling at 5.513 quadrillion times the speed of light.
NOT FAST ENOUGH. It would take 3 seconds to go from one end of the observable universe to the other, not fukin fast enough danny

How to "teleport"
Step one: find a means of traveling more than 2 billion times the speed of light
Step two: yeah, no one will know the difference, at that point you're basically teleporting
True teleportation is required to be distance agnostic. It would still take you 23.25 years (roughly) to reach the edge of the known universe using this method of teleportation.
@@DemonXeron As I said, no one will know the difference. Not unless you're traveling interstellar distances at least, and even then you have to go pretty far before the time lag between leaving and arriving becomes noticeable to the human observer.
The speed is actually much much higher than 2 billion times the speed of light. Courtesy of wolfram alpha it would take 3 minutes and 31 seconds to reach the edge of the observable universe if you use the "highest speed achieved". If, however, you were to cross the observable universe, from one end to the other, it would take 7 minutes and 2 seconds. However, taking the highest speed over land (which is much higher at approximately C^3*3) would take about 5 seconds to reach the edge, and 11 seconds to cross it.

i think the game might be using the sun as the center of the "universe". 0 is a special number in math, this bug probably revolves around that specialness.
Indeed, that point seems to be some sort of "default landed location" for KSP. Bugged out debris ends up in the same place, marked as "landed at the sun" with zero as coordinates.
@@Danny2462 That's actually a convenient way to get rid of it without it piling up and causing lag. Basically the "what if we shot our trash into the sun?" idea put into practice.
Note that you arrived at the sun at the same altitude, which probably means the somehow forgot you were in Kerbin's s.o.i. and loaded you in at the same exact coordinates, but in the default s.o.i., which is the sun
