It was so delish, and if you have any left after taking it out of the oven (literally half the loaf was gone the minute I took it out!) toast the slices a bit and then put on the butter! So good!! Hi Laura, so nice to see you well! Love the make up, you did very well, I can see that half pumpkin!! I have never heard of a brambrack before, I am so glad you shared the story of it. It looks delicious! The token in it reminded me of the “ Galette des Rois” in France that we have on the 6th of January to celebrate the arrival of the Kings at the stable in Bethlehem. It is a cake made with puff pastry and filled with marzipan and in each cake is a “fève” ( a bean size figurine traditionally of one of the people or animals that would have been present in the crib). Whoever breaks their teeth on that “fève” would be the king or the queen of the day and they get a crown made of paper on their head and they get another the crown to place of the head of the person of their choice to become their queen or king! The galette is a very popular tradition in France and it is delicious! I thought you might enjoy knowing that fact! Very happy Halloween to you and much love 😄👍🎃👻😘💕🌸

My mum used to put coins wrapped in parchment paper in the cake before baking, so I’d have the cake slice in my plate just to pick the coins out 🤣🤣 Tricia isn’t feeling great at all, sleeping a lot and just able to potter around the house for short durations xx I keep testing but still negative. Strange that she only just had her top up injection last week!!! Your looking very well and and we loved your make up. Very pretty eyes 👀. Back to planning my 2024 growing spaces 🙂 x keep smiling x
