I am once again in a former Soviet Union republic. This time in beautiful Tbilisi, Georgia. And today I get to drive a very special automotive pearl from the Soviet Union, unknown in the West, the GAZ-24 Volga.
What was a modern and strong car when it was introduced in 1970, had become hopelessly old-fashioned in the last year of construction, 1992.
What it is like to drive an early version of the GAZ, and with many more details and historical information than Doug DeMuro's review, I will tell all about, in this review.

auto met veel klasse geweldig dat hele mysterieuze sfeertje van vroeger straat het ook een mooie presentatie!! Er waren dingen bij die ik niet wist top!

Tbilisi is een prachtige stad.

Bijzondere review, in het land van herkomst, dat is een plus. Mooie statige auto zo'n Volga, zeker in zwart komt het chrome mooi uit. In België werden deze Volga's ook verkocht, met redelijk succes.

@@OverstuurmetMaurice De Scaldia werd in NL ook verkocht, maar dat was de Moskvitch 408/412 dus geen Volga. De Belgische situatie lag anders, maar als Nederlander ben ik daar niet goed van op de hoogte. Scaldia en ook Yalta werd indertijd door Gremi geïmporteerd.
