- I get some colloquial linguistic learnings from a random lady who approached me on the streets of a town called Blyth and share my new found knowledge with the crowd that night (From 2017 and only released now because I completely forgot I'd done it)
It’s so funny watching this now as an American who lived in Blyth for 15 years. It was certainly a cultural shock! 😂 but I also met some of the most genuine nicest people I’ve ever known. ❤
You'll be sad to know the Keel Row shopping centre is closing but the bus station is still going strong with about 10 passengers an hour

I used to live about 25 miles from Newcastle. In my youth I once caught the bus there to see the big city and when I got there I found myself following two lasses who had come out of Greggs.
I followed them along a long street, listening to them. I was quite certain that they were speaking English, but could still not distinguish actual, understandable, words.
