As a Viking fan, it was cringe worthy at first but now it is just hilarious to me. He was a little tipsy and had no guidelines. It makes perfect sense. Love You Ed and SKOL
heh-heh. "What do I do?". "Well, you announce the pick, Ed." "Can I have a little fun with it?" "Yeah, sure I guess. That'd be kinda cool". Then he goes on to say nobody told him he only had 60 seconds as if it's not implied that it shouldn't take more than 60 seconds to tell a joke or two and read a card. He seems like a good guy but I have no patience for him and his kind. And I freely admit this is probably more my problem than those like Marinaro. You can see from this interview that 60 seconds is never going to be enough when he gets to talking. Always going off on some tangent to set the table with sh*t that has nothing to do with the answer to the question. And these people take you from the very most beginning of the story to the very end. Asked him what kind of guidance did they give him for the announcement and he starts telling us about the flight out, what he did on Thursday, he gets there, they're very nice, they pick him up blah, blah, blah. Who cares what the name of the hotel was or who was in the green room? What do you with people like this? It's not often they have a card in their hand that you can point to and say, "dude, could you just...?" And this seems rather common among the aging. Can't help but feel I'm going to turn into one of those people if I haven't already.
. Kinda funny how Ross, even though he's on Ed's side, had to "corral him" a couple of times here to curtail his rambling, and get him back on track !! He really doesn't seem like a bad guy.......I just think he might benefit from "tightening up" his thoughts a bit before he starts speaking, and remembering the old motto that says, "Sometimes, less is more"..... .
Dude was one of the highlights of the draft!
Love this guy, he was so good as Joe Coffey on hill street blues. He’s such a cool dude and legend in football.
Love Eddie Marinaro
Coach !! Go Goats 🐐!!! He was so awesome at the draft !

He made the draft fun! Glad he did that in an otherwise boring draft
