GPz 900r Anti Dive Unit Rebuild

A video of what's involved in rebuilding the 1989 GPz900r front fork anti-dive units. Parts available from the GPZ Zone in the UK. The top brake fluid portion of the unit is a throw away item and has no parts. How to test both halves is in the bike manual.

After asking you if the unit comes apart I went on my work shop (shed) and had an old unit with broken nipple in used an angle grinder and cut it in half its threaded probably a 17 hex or 18hex with hole on middle will try to undo mine because piston will not move,

Thanks have contacted him, question the top part of the unit with bleed on it is it supposed to move or is it fixed

I beleive it moves down A very small amount (1-2mm) when brakes are applied.

All my parts were in good condition so I put it together after a bit of white grease Sean said he will contact me when he has the kit

@@andymoorhouse8820 thanks for your reply. I managed to contact Sean too. There is an underscore in his username, which is why I couldn't find him initially. Skycaptain_789. Mine don't look too bad either now they are disassembled and cleaned, but I will replace all the l rings for prudence.

Don't know that unit, if its looks the same then I guess it would be similar internally.
