A video of what's involved in rebuilding the 1989 GPz900r front fork anti-dive units. Parts available from the GPZ Zone in the UK. The top brake fluid portion of the unit is a throw away item and has no parts. How to test both halves is in the bike manual.

Sweers Island navigation and fishing trip

Combined some Nav Training with a fishing trip to Sweers Island up in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Flew from Brisbane to the gulf over two days to get there and two days back, with 4 days fishing in the middle. Aircraft is a 182 RG. Aircraft was great apart from me braking to hard on one strip on the return leg and popping a tyre.
Hi Red Tone, do you know if this conversion apply to the CF40AC that has the 7-LED controller as well? I noticed that your fridge at the start of the video had a similar control panel to what you put in. Mine has the 7 LED's and I beleive the control board is on the blink as on 1 LED is sitting at 0 Deg and 2LED's -3Deg. A new thermistor was put in as well.
Sorry Bud don't know if that will work. but if the internals are the same as in my video it just may. I'm guessing their would not be too much of a difference between the two.

Hi Red Tone, thanks for taking the time to document that, it's fairly helpful, but am still unsure about the 'big white wire'. I bought one of these kits but it didn't come with the ribbon loom from the PCB to the control/display panel, even though it was shown in the description. I've analysed your vid and done my best to determine the (ribbon loom)terminal order, but am wondering if you can confirm which terminals match, as it could be easy to make a loom but roll it so contacts don't match...(ie; arse about). ? (I have a CF110, with the 7 LED's and even though the description was ambiguous it indicated it should still work on mine, which I think is pre-Version 'A') Cheers in advance, duTch

I managed to pry a 7 ribbon cable out of Dometic and made it work, so no further need for previous request, now just need an instruction manual🤔
After asking you if the unit comes apart I went on my work shop (shed) and had an old unit with broken nipple in used an angle grinder and cut it in half its threaded probably a 17 hex or 18hex with hole on middle will try to undo mine because piston will not move,
Thanks have contacted him, question the top part of the unit with bleed on it is it supposed to move or is it fixed
I beleive it moves down A very small amount (1-2mm) when brakes are applied.

All my parts were in good condition so I put it together after a bit of white grease Sean said he will contact me when he has the kit
@@andymoorhouse8820 thanks for your reply. I managed to contact Sean too. There is an underscore in his username, which is why I couldn't find him initially. Skycaptain_789. Mine don't look too bad either now they are disassembled and cleaned, but I will replace all the l rings for prudence.

Don't know that unit, if its looks the same then I guess it would be similar internally.

Good day im hoping someone could help me i have the CF-60 Ver A but my 12/24volt isn't working...the moment i plug it in then my error light comes on and starts flushing. Hope to hear from you soon.
Low Voltage results in a flashing orange light
Hello there Red Tone, I have a CF-50 version B. I have no power at all or display, including LCD screen. I connected it to 240V Its very Dead and fuse is correct and in good order. Tried the emergency override still nothing. Could you please let me know if you can think of any possible explanation or cause.. Lastly how much did the version B kit cost, also Whom from please. Its not a very cheap accessories to just give it to the rubbish dump. Anything you might come up with i will be trying aswell, just strange the fuse is fine and not getting any noise from Motor area at all also using AC power.. Thankfully yours Garry Griffin
Sounds like your main board is probably fried. If you know an electrician get him to run a multi meter downstream of the fuse checking connections and power. If you have power into the main board and nothing on the LED panel then it could be the LED panel. You could also bypass some power directly to the compressor motor to check it but I doubt it would be your problem. You should be able to get the main board and LED panel from any Portable fridge service centre in Australia for 2 to 300 Dollars Australian. Should be a straight swap out. Below is a link for the parts i Got on ebay. If yours is already a ver B I would check that these parts are compatible.

Hello red tone, please can you help..I have a waeco 60ltr (ver B) and I cant stop it from freezing things up and its doesn't seem to go higher than 10 deg when I adjust it but still freezes things...will it be the thermostat...any help would be great thanks, Steve

What is the difference between Ver A and B?
Ver A has a turbo button Where Ver B has a set button to access the modes and also the Battery low med and high is on the digital display in ver b and not a manual switch where the plugs are. I had to replace the LED as mine was not working and ver A parts are no longer available. Hence the conversion to B
