Very nice layout. In answer to the comment about speed I have a couple of thoughts. I understand speed might be high to please visitors. But I roughly calculated your train speeds at about 50 mph. When we compress scenery, we tend to think the train is faster than it actually is. On my own layout, I have favorite scenes that I video frequently. It didn't take long to measure the distance of my scene in a decimal fraction of a scale mile. Then, using the distance over time calculation , I could check the speed of my trains in that scene. Then, I add the comments to each video clip for reference . Thank you very much for this video. Always good with morning coffee.
@@ericjohnson3746 Thank You For the Comment. I Don't Usually run my trains fast but when I'm at the club I would run them a little faster just because the layout is big and my santa fe dash 8 is a dc loco
