In an advanced city far into the future, a unique race called “The Human Cannonball Tournament” takes place. Contestants are fired from a series of cannons from a platform, and compete through the circular city hovering high in the sky for the highest honor.
Back in the tournament’s maintenance bay, the technician Zazel has a childhood dream of entering the race one day. By an unexpected turn of events, she accidentally gets mistaken for one of the contestants and is thrown into tournament. With no experience and equipment, can she fulfill her dream and reach the finish line?
遠い未来の先進都市で、「人間砲弾大会」と呼ばれる大会が開かれている。 参加者は発射台にある大砲から発射され、街の空高くに浮いているゴールを最高の栄誉を求めて競い合う。
砲台のメンテ工房にて、技師のザゼルはこの大会に参加したいと子供の頃から夢見ていた。 想定外の出来事により、彼女は参加者の一人と間違われて大会に参加させられてしまう。
経験も装備もなしに、彼女は夢を叶え、ゴールにたどり着くことが出来るのか？
在一座與近代科技相仿但似乎又有一點點不同的高科技都市，有著一個當地居民共同關注的定期賽事──「人肉砲彈競賽」，選手們將在高聳的圓環都市中相互競爭，取得他們最高的榮耀。

From a visual standpoint, it's really good and the concept is pretty amazing. The sound design though still needs work. Still a 8.5/10. I wanna see more

Shan Chaudhry the sound effects that were used were jarring and there werent any sound effects later on in the video. Still great for what it is
I feel like it's pretty slow animation wise. And some points were a TINY bit jittery. But that could probably be fixed in the future.
How many people can agree that this would make a flat-out _amazing_ game? Like, here's how I would make it:
Step 1: Aim the cannon where you want to go.
Step 2: Charge up the cannon as powerful as you can.
Step 3: When you've been shot out of the cannon, control your movement in the air. (maybe some characters can have special abilities?)
Step 4: When flying, try to hit bounce pads or boosters to get to the goal, but watch out for obstacles and enemy players!
Let's not forget, use any tricks if you have any. Since the case with this thing seems to be that anything goes once the competitors have taken flight

This should be a series! The sound and colors[Since they tend to clash and make it hard to see what's going on sometimes] could use work, but otherwise it's amazing!

this is amazing, everything, character design, environment, the story. A couple of things seemed like they could be presented clearer for better flow of the story but i still understood everything that was going on so those things seem very minor to me. The animation style reminds me of the chaotic nature of my favorite gainax films. I loved it :^)

Character design seemed a little lazy, the main girl is basically Ochaco Uraraka from Boku no Hero Academia with goggles. Other than that I loved it.

I see this as a rough draft for an action packed fantasy sport anime. A series of 12 episodes of 24 minutes each would be perfect. It could work because human cannon race is very original and there is a great diversity of characters with surely their own interesting stories.
Any studios willing to fund this?
Studio Bones, Funimation, and Kyoani would all do wonder for this. bones and funimation can give us a really action packed show while Kyoani would probably push a development on the character as she slowly becomes confidant and skilled at the Human Cannonball Racing

Sori Ch It's typically incredibly taxing to make an animated series as detailed as this pilot. Not only that, the creator has to put all the finishing touches and edits on it as well, and that could require mastering an entirely new set of programs and skills.
This animation just suddenly came back to my mind, so I dug through all my like to watch this again after all these years. 🤩

If we're talking about Hatsume Mei's babies, it sorta fits since the main character is literally a support technician, much like Hatsume. Except Zazel is actually likeable. Hatsume is not.

This is very cute! Zazel is my favorite and my favorite part is when the guy had to use the bathroom and left his stuff and she got into it. that part always crack me up.

Lovely animation; slightly rough and leaning more towards a western style of animation, yet still upholding plenty of aesthetics from Japanese anime. This is simply wonderful.

So it's basically a bunch of competitors trying to reach the goal from the sky while being shoot out of a canon... Somebody needs to make it into a series in disney XD or Cartoon Network because the Idea and the video Is freaking awesome. :D

I saw this 6 years ago when I was a kid. Came to mind for whatever reason and just couldn't find it. After asking people online for weeks I found the old device I watched it on and scrolled through my watch history to find this. Blew me away even after all these years. Listen, I'm not a big anime guy but this here is something special. From the characters to the world, I love the ambition of this short film. It reminds me of my favorite childhood film: Speed Racer (2008). In it is a large cast of colorful cars and drivers, mind you most in the background or having little screen time, but have the same love and creativity put into them as any main character. Same as this film, they both have a colorful, but violent, adrenaline fueled races to victory. Don't stop making ambitious and creative works like this, you truly have something special here. Again, this made impression on me strong as 6 years and I'm not sure many artists can say that about their work.

Amazing artwork! and the songs Fit perfect in the story! the story is easy too understand and very creative!!, although.. maybe a little more scenes before or after the game and it would be PERFECT! there are some funny things in it so its not too serious but at the end with those photo's was so well made! and the artstyle is unique! this NEEDS to be a real cartoon😍😍!! o and i ship Zazel X champion Ramirez soo much!😄

The style this is animated in ins interesting, it seems to take inspiration from both eastern and western animation, the designs for the characters (futuristic armor aside) is all over the place, and they're really expressive. It's also amazing how you managed to explain the world that this short takes place in with no dialogue whatsoever, especially since that world is so unique and unusual. That exposition scene at the beginning was brief but effective, the rest would've made no sense without it. Overall great job!

This has stuck in my head for a long time, fantastic short, love the setting, character designs and humour, and the art style is perfect. Has a Jet Set Radio vibe that just makes me love it more.

Nice job, I really like the art style. Though if I were to give some criticism, I think the animation is a bit jittery and lacks anticipation making it hard to follow the action, but for a student project this is really impressive and I can't wait to see how you improve.
