- Detecting & digging this old cellar hole for relics and I finally found one of the NH state Vol. Militia buttons from the 1800's. I started out digging in the bricks and rocks of the fallen chimney stack and found parts of a colonial shoe buckle. Metal detecting old places like this in New England you are going to find old stuff with so much history. Then I got a signal on my Fisher F19 that I could barley lock on to and just started digging. Out pops a two piece button and I could see there was some detail on it. Cleaned it up and there was the New Hampshire design on it with the big ship and Vol. Militia. I have been looking to find one of these for a while now as a part of our NH state history so it was a great day.

That button was a specular find. Makes you wonder who lived there. Your digging then detecting methods are certainly paying off.
You are a true representative of what metal detecting is all about. Digging history and appreciating all of it, even the small stuff. Thank you Charlie.
Great button from great persistence!
Why don't you use the small coil
You've been uncovering some great finds lately. Congrats!
Nice two piece decorative button. Its just amazing what you find in a chimney stack 😮. Love the video Charlie 😊
Hey Charlie, nice job ! Your intuition, hard work and maybe a little help from your guides and angels sure does pay off. Very cool finds on this Not Thursday. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸

Way to go Charlie! Super find!
Charlie was the button from Civil War or Revolutionary War ? Thank you for the adventure and seeing nice finds !
Beautiful old button. I'm going to dig in one of my chimney stacks as soon as it cools off a little. Thanks for sharing!!!

HH!!
That buckle chape could be the center of the two halves you found last, eh?
I appreciate you sharing this❤
Oh my....that button! Wow!
No pain no gain. Nice👍😘
Outstanding New Hampshire militia button DC! - SB
wish you used a screen on that dirt...! I'm sure you miss stuff. Good showing anyway...! Thumbs up!
💥💥💥💥FACT: All the good targets recovered at that location, are nothing compared to the good targets that are still hidden and masked. That would be a virgin cellar hole if somebody went nuts with a leaf blower. For real.
Awesome information about the way you findings things Charlie 👍
A button, a piece of shoe buckle, and then junk, lots of junk! Is the effort worth the reward?
Nice finds Charlie! I enjoy your channel! Rk.
