The awkward moment when you realize that Bowser is only viable super-heavyweight in Ultimate.
The King Koopa has come a long way. A bad character in Melee, Brawl, and pre-patch SSB4. Up until now, he only showed signs of viability in post-patch SSB4, although in retrospect Bowser didn't actually do much in that game outside of Nairo's counterpicking antics in 2017.
He's only party viable because he has speed that help not make him being big and heavy as much as a problem
He is back and better than ever!
Charizard is a close second.

@Sam H. I mean superheavies. Heavy characters like Samus, Cloud, and especially the three you mentioned (Wario, Snake, R.O.B.), are definitely viable.
Superheavies are typically considered to be characters that are PPlant weight and above, aka the top 8 heaviest characters.

@@kaidenmcgillivary1881 you know when my Cloud fought my other amiibo's he literally stopped doing any special moves so i had to train him in another way
Basically i did an entire game spamming Up B and nothing else and already the next game started doing it and so i did with the other moves and it worked now he does all the things together so i think that you should teach your amiibo what you want him to truly learn and if the dair and trow combo doesn't work go for something else like dair and uo tilt ane stuff like that
Remember this: If you find a Cloud, there's a 99.9999999% chance the first thing you see is a Blade Beam. And then Climhazzard or Cross Slash, whatever he gets from diagonal input-B.

I'm making no claim of being God, but as a fervent main for Bowser in Smash 4 and from some small time with Ultimate, keep on going. I dare say he's the most dangerous fighter there just by raw weight and from his lack of effect from receiving knock back or slow down from certain moves at low percentages.
Also, liberally abuse Fire Breath wherever possible, ledges or otherwise. Falling out of the sky like a 10 ton weight is good, but real easy to dodge with enough gap.

One of my favorite things to do as bowser is just run at people. A weird amount of people don’t know how to fight a heavy wait who just always holds forward. Also just running off ledge the fairing is always fun.
