    I'm a big fan of 3blade props!

I little down angle on the strut on the 2 blade to lift the back might give you higher speed three blade prop have way more lift but are so smooth.

Good call James just hate wasting thrust on negative angle but I bet the 2 blade ABC’s would prefer it👍🏼

The more I see these videos of people going 70+ with every boat they have the more I think I suck at boating. My geico is struggling to go 50 without severe bouncing and idk why

A Geico twin 36 inch? Should be good for at least 70 out of the box. You’re set up must be off if you’re not able to get up to full throttle. It also takes a decent amount of time at full throttle and room to open the boat up, you can just hit it for a second and expect big numbers

@@RogallaMarineRC yes the 36 inch dual. yeah I’ve been trying to work out it’s setup but this thing is finicky.

Congrats brother Nice runs! I like the 3 blade looks like it ran smoother. Could you do laps with this setup or strictly for speed runs? Do you think my lil Popeye turn fin would give you more speed since its smaller and maybe less drag?
Also I need a class on the battery setups on how you explained 2- 4s batteries gives you 2p. How is it set up? Is that parellel or series? And if you ran 2- 4s2p batteries in that set up you have Would you then get 4p? My batts are 4s2p or 3s2p my 2s are 1p
    Thank you in Adbanced 🤙🛥️

Hey bro! Thank you! The 1814 pulled a peak of 260 amps so that’s one I could probably run laps with, the boat is only 30” so not sure if it would stay on the water at those speeds for full throttle laps though. A straight fin definitely would pick up some speed but you’d lose some turning ability which is really the best part of a hydro. Basically if you have two 4s packs there’s two ways you can wire them; in series for 8s or in parallel for 4s2p. The former doubles the voltage for 8s the latter doubles the runtime at the same voltage. A single 4s pack is 4s1p. For your popeye you’d most likely run 6s1p with two 3s packs

The ‘s’ in 4s is for series, and if someone says 2p that would be two of those in parallel. Essentially this boat is on two 4s 5000 mah packs but only 4s voltage just double the runtime

He’s a cheater! Haha, congrats man. I’ve got a new prop coming this week. Hopefully I can break 70 with the little 2050kv

      @@RogallaMarineRCso if i run 2 3s2p in series to get 6s will that be 6s2p or 6s4p?
