So happy i bought the Mafex one. They’re amazing. Articulation is really good too. Even with those heels. I was so torn which on to get because i have sh fig ww and black w. I wanna match with them. But ya glad i bought the mafex one. And i have a batpod too from sh fig works perfectly too.
Too bad you dint like the movie. Glad to see a review of this one finally, Im torn apart if I get this one or Mafex, Mafex seems to be slightly better but its too big. Can you compare how this figure and the Mafex on scale next to the SHF batman and the mafex batman?
Hey D, Great review as usual. I still have this on pre-order even though I'm pretty happy with the MAFEX 2.0 and liked getting the unmasked head and stand too. I'm liking the hinge joint the hair on this one, but wish that you gave us a better side by side with the heads between MAFEX and this one. Guess I'll have to keep this pre-order coming to judge in person. I just hate playing this game as it's getting too pricey. All in all though I've been ALL IN on the MAFEX Justice League, but did grab the WW, the Batman (and stupid $22 extender peg for his torso) and just grabbed the SHF Superman to have a non-PO'd version of him on the shelf and because someone on FB sold him for a decent price shipped. lol
I also didn’t like the movie, a shame as I really enjoyed the first two. That said I do like the designs and the look of the movies. I enjoy your reviews - they seem very honest.
Yea, the leg articulation killed it for me. I cancelled my BBTS pre-order... guess I'll still stick with Street Fighter SH Figuarts at the moment. My wallet won't mind. Thanks for the review.
Yeah, the movie stunk & Catwoman wasn't that great in it either. This is a pretty cool looking Catwoman however & IMO looks slightly better (suit & face) then the Mafex (the latter of which has the better articulation). The SHFA Batpod is a very cool vehicle & this fig. would be a nice add to that for display purposes. Thanks for the review.
Why are you buying the figs from TDKR...if you hated the movie? I dont get it. Collect what you love...love what you collect. Just saying doesn't make a bit of sense.
Christopher Leusner I disagree. I don’t like the Nolan Batman movies but I like a lot of the costume designs. I have contemplated buying the Mafex Catwoman 2.0 just because I like the design of Nolan’s Catwoman so much
he does reviews. He needs the figure in order to review it. Also I don’t like the DCEU, but the mafex justice league figures are great, and I like some of the designs. I’m considering getting the mafex tactical suit Batman even though I’m not interested in the movie. It’s not strange in the slightest.
Your lack of interest in the film and figure really came out in your review lol. Surprised by the legs and abs but still much better than anything from D.C. collectibles.
A damn shame this didn't include an alternate unmasked head... and the articulation. This almost makes MAFEX's Catwoman look better.

I think the movie is meant to be seen in theatres I saw it in IMAX back then and seeing the trilogy with a crowd added the entertainment.

The SHF sculpt and texture looks way nicer than Mafex.
Mafex faces are usuallly poor and the Mafex pricing is getting ridiculous.
