In this video, I'll be sharing what I packed for my hostel life at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Jabalpur (IIITJ). If you're about to start your journey at IIITJ or any other college hostel, this video will give you a detailed look at what I brought along to ensure a comfortable and well-prepared stay.

📋 Complete Packing Checklist for IIITJ:
BUCKET
-MUG
-LAUNDRY BAG
-IRON BOX
-KETTLE
-CURTAINS(I bought it from the general store inside the campus-300 Rs for 2 curtains(you’ll need 2 curtains to fit the entire window as it’s big and wide.))
-BED COT(Bought it from the city, won’t be provided from the college….you can also buy in the campus but I heard that the quality wasn’t good enough)
-ROPE FOR THE CURTAINS
-CLOTH LINE.
-NOTEBOOKS/STATIONARY ITEMS
-WASHING POWDER/SCRUBBER FOR CLOTHES/WASHING BAR/HANDWASH
-SPOON/TIFFIN/MUG
-COFFEE POWDER/COMPLAN/BOOST/HORLICKS/BONVITA(whatever you like)(milk and tea will be given in the mess in the morning, no coffee)
-KEY CHAIN FOR YOUR ROOM KEYS
-CARPET/BEDSHEETS/PILLOW
-LAN CABLE AND ADAPTER
-Good SHOES

For our batch for physical reporting we had 3 days 16,17,18 and on 19th we had our orientation and on 20th we had our 1st class. So we didn't get any gap so yes we bought everything.
You will get the dates in order so you can prepare everything accordingly.

@@Lifeistoliveவாழ்க்கைவாழ்வதற்கே Visitors hostel isn't taking booking during the phy reporting days. So you'll have to book a room in the city. You may chevk through the hotel booking apps.

How clothes are washed in iiit jabalpur.i mean washed in laundry or we should wash our clothes
@@umeshkumarchekka You should wash . Washing machines are not provided. Laundry facility is available.
To run wifi on mobile, is it necessary to buy wifi booster ? And did we get any wifi in campus and library through wireless or there also we r getting lan cable only?
@@WebseriesCorp In library and Computer centre wifi is provided, you just have to enter the password. When you are in your room you can get the lan wifi thru the hotspot of your laptop.
Lan cable is only for your room.
To run wifi on Mobile it's not necessary to buy a wifi booster.
Does droppers need to submit gap certificate? Cuz it's not mentioned on site for previous years😕

@GudugulaUday For CSE branch it's better if you have one. If you don't have no issues, you can use the PC in the Computer Lab (that's only available during the hours the lab is opened) or your may ask your friend if you can use his for practice.

@@Di-k6u in iiit jabalpur cse is the best. 2nd place is for ece.
How is ECE in Jabalpur can I choose ? Placements and other information about ECE.
@@baddusrinivasarao5607 The ECE department is really good. I asked few of my seniors and they said it's worth joining. The faculty and the courses are great.
I'm not from ECE so I've answered based on what my seniors and friends from the ECE department told me.

After paying the partial admission fee only the college starts for freshers right like only after getting the letter from college they call us for physical reporting

@@aakritikarna 1m is fine but I gs 2m would be required if you want to take the lap to different places in the same room. You can extend the cable in that case if it's long.

Macbook is also fine but the thing is some softwares are not easily available for mac. Windows os users are more so the softwares are easy available. If you are getting a mac, it's fine but you'll have to do some research on it and then only buy.
