@@mrbloodmuffins Yes, but he race in the 2002 Indy 500 and we all know what happens.
And the Premier is a false good idea, knowing how the tchat from the Nascar ones was insufferable and so toxic that they decided that "enough is enough" and stop doing it.
@@hypesion2223 I find a race replay less valuable if you can just skip to the end.
The premier style worked well for F1's classic race replays, the official accounting were even getting involved with with side chat. The premier replays for Trans Am are also working well and I watch much more of those in terms of minutes watched than the Indycar replays.
And if you don't like the side chat, you can make it all go away with the click of a button.

Kentucky speedway is filled with trailers for Amazon. I wish they'd bring IndyCar back to Kentucky

This race defines Tomas Scheckter: Fast and agressive, but very inconsistent.
Wished he could've been a champion in IndyCar.
This race was the nail in his Cheever racing coffin. Eddie continued to be salty about him as a commentator, even after Tomas had left Indycar lol
@@senorsoupe And with good reason. I can't imagine how much money in wrecked cars Eddie spent for those 12 races.
6 crashes and 2 mechanical failures surely rubbed Cheever the wrong way. His best results were 6th at Homestead, 4th at Richmond and victory in Michigan, with a 16th place run at Pikes Peak the other race were he was running at the finish.
@@senorsoupe oh yeah, I remember Eddie Cheever always making negative comments about Tomas as a commentator for the next ten years LOL Scott Goodyear said all his crashes cost over a million dollars and Eddie had foregone paying for insurance on his cars at the beginning of that year… so it all came out of Eddie’s pocket, which explains the hate… lol!!
Not only was this Sarah Fisher's only pole, it was also Felipe Giaffone's only IndyCar win.
Now this is oval racing here, cars passing one another and all not in single file like now. Boy I wish I had gotten to watch this back then and before cause you’ll probably never see this oval racing again.
Oh man. I was at the first 3 Indy races @ KY. It really was great racing....and the parties in the parking lots were even better. Great times..miss it a lot.

I’m 3 years late on this comment but I can only imagine the tailgating before the races here were a blast. Still longing to go to a live INDYCAR or F1 race.
God I hated these IRL chassis... compare these to the 2002 Champ Cars.

ABC/ESPN was horrible because never any post race coverage. Very short talk with the winner and sometimes not even that.

IndyCar, i'm sure that more than one fan will agree with what i have to say.
Your social media presence is REALLY, REALLY BAD,like, you act like it's the 00s and social media has barely begun. F1 and NASCAR have way better social media presence and upload old races almost every single day and that's what drives some people away. When it comes to uploading old races, you can't upload just 1 race every 2 weeks. It's laughable at best,and the worst thing is: I'm an IRL and CART fanatic and i wish for the series to grow and become better in every aspect, including the social media one.
F1 does not upload old race videos at all lol.

@@juanmanuelbonzano There are literally 0. They uploaded like 3 races after they postponed last season and took them down after a couple weeks. That’s it

Indycar uploaded old races regularly-ish before either NASCAR or F1 did even occasionally.
