I'm almost 53 years old. I played college football and stayed in fantastic shape up into my 40s. I regularly walked a mile deep into the river bottoms to hunt deer, carrying about 35 lbs on my back, gun or bow in hand, then climb a tree when I got where I was going. I've hauled deer that same mile out. Then 2 years ago I stopped exercising, started drinking in the evenings, and now I'm in the worst shape of my life. I tried to jump rope the other day, because in my 20s I could jump rope for 10 minutes without stopping. This time I almost tripped and had to stop after 10 jumps because my calves were on fire! PLEASE young people, take care of your bodies!!!
when was the last time you heard a former pro athlete say, "I now work at an insurance company or ..." At 40, a retired athlete can never work a "real job" outside of trying to be a coach or sportscaster? Did Karl Malone ever drive his truck?
he is human, happens to everybody, no exercise your health is going to decline. Most football players have CTI, so the workouts might help him, especial when he is getting older.

He's something else...love hearing his stories.
When he said he only made it 70 yards into the run...I LMFAO

He's really humbled himself in his retirement.
He can easily get a job as an NFL analyst.
a mans man for sure
think basically you got to keep moving after you retire and exercise your body as well as your mind, with that said easier said than done.
