I work as a tour manager for touring bands and did a lot of touring in Latin America between 2012 and 2018. Santiago de Chile always had the best crowds followed by São Paulo. All bands left happy and rejuvenated right after these tours. Best music fans in the world!

La cumbia en este país siempre fue popular, y es cierto que hoy el rock/metal no esta en su auge, pero de los 70s al 2010 argentina fue un semillero de bandas y músicos de rock. Y su público fue el más grande durante 40 años. Lee un poco y vas a ver. Al día de hoy algunas bandas nacionales llevan entre 50 y 60 mil personas por recital.

For all those who criticize, it was something unthinkable to see Pantera, clearly there are not the Abbott brothers, nobody denies it, but the two concerts were incredible. No one will EVER take the brothers' place, Charlie and Zack are tremendous musicians. Anselmo is on another level, goooooood. Este fue mi primer concierto de metal en mi vida, Sepultura y Pantera, simplemente increíbles y a pesar de lo desordenado y caótico que se puede ver el publico en el video, fue brigido lo cómodo que me sentí entre la gente, todos muy amables y respetando el espacio del otro para que todos puedan disfrutar por igual. Con el respeto que merecen los músicos, conocí a Pantera en el 94 aperturando a Kiss, y en el 98 aperturando a Metallica, nada que ver estos…te transmitían energía, furia, miedo, poder, gusto, alegria, locura por esta gran música 🎶 ,pero bien por el intento!

I was engineering sound at a secret show in Las Vegas at a small venue I work at for Phil Anselmo and the Illegals a few years ago. His voice sounded exactly the same on the Pantera songs which to this day is greatest show I ever worked in there. Everyone who was older turned into a twenty-something in the pit and every twenty-something almost fainted from the experience of the Pantera material live which his band played flawlessly. Phil is something else...so glad to see this tour happen.

i've been obsessed with metal my entire life. i've been to several "historical" gigs. i've never seen a crowd anywhere like this. black dahlia murder at brutal assault 2018 circle pit wrapped around the beer tents at the back and i thought that was peak.
Seeing it gets me so excited, but then I have to remind myself that this is one of those crazy South American audiences. You guys know how to bring it.
So great to see Pantera performing again, regardless of lineup. I remember being so pissed I missed the 2001 tour with Slayer due to 9/11, I kept the ticket and never asked for a refund. Huge respect to the Chilean crowd, that’s how heavy loud music is celebrated, amazing moshpit indeed folks!!! 🤘🤘🤘
