Exploring the Empty Quarter - Platinum Heritage desert safari, Dubai

Covering almost two million square kilometres, the Arabian Desert is vast, but also full of history, culture and wildlife. Here’s how we encountered all of these things in a Platinum Heritage Safari in Dubai.
This safari takes most of the day and consists of:
- pick-up from hotel in Dubai in top-of-the-line Range Rover
- muster at Platinum Heritage HQ on the edge of the desert where you're given your traditional headscarf
- drive through the desert's 'Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve' protected zone spotting wildlife in top-of-the-line Range Rover
- canapes in the desert and a live falconry display
- camel ride through the desert to a royal oasis
- six-course dinner in the oasis in your private cabana
- dance and acrobatics display and fire-stunts
- Chauffeur drive back to hotel in top-of-the-line Range Rover
- gift pack of saffron, oud, chocolates and honey

Hi, I think your video skills of late have become epic! Love the written short succinct words instead of most video presentations which have voice overs. Just one tiny critique, the music is quite monotonous and really doesn't give the viewer an "Arabian" feel or suit the incredible professional style and class you're projecting.

Sorry to hear you didn't like the soundtrack though. It's hard to choose music that fits a video and although I see what you mean about the 'Arabian' feel, I was trying not to be too obvious or generic. Dubai after all is such a global city. I'll endeavour to find more suitable tracks for the future though.
Don't worry though - I'll definitely steer clear of any attempts at voice-overs! 😄
