He is a really cute one. Mine stopped howling when he was about 14 years old. Then he detected he can bark. Or what he thinks how barking sounds like. So no more howling and talking since 2 years. I really miss it so much.
Some days I feel the same way. And I knew a female Husky that had a whole vocabulary of howls. Sometimes she'd come up, put her nose in my face, and just say "woo". That was a sign to pay her attention. Ignoring her got longer and louder "woos" until you got the loud howl in your face. RIP Shasha!
Usually I find husky howling annoying but his howls actually sounds really beautiful
