- When tying a dropshot rig using the infamous Palomar knot, it is sometimes tricky to always make sure the hook is pointing up. There are many instructions telling you you need to thread the line or place the hook through the loop in certain directions, etc; and thread the tag. However, you actually don't need to pay attention to any of these...just tie it up, and then use this "Magic Trick", you can have a perfect Palomar every time without even thread the line tag.
Awesome tip and thanks for sharing and I've got to share this :)

Great quick tip, Jerry! It happens so often that we anglers overthink everything lol
Tight lines!!!
Thank you 🤩
Very good advice, for new and seasoned anglers. As someone already said, we overthink things sometimes.
Thanks again for your information 😊😊
The " dont forget to wet the line before you cinch down" is Golden 😅😅

That was good information. Bassmd
Maybe a topic for a video:
Solid (or stinger) tip VS
Tubulaire tip 😄
I made one couple years ago on my other channel. Been testing a couple different types of stinger tops after that vid. Should be an easy update~
