Zack, I just wanted to tell you how much I love and appreciate your videos. I really enjoy learning more about your life. I think it’s so important to showcase all different types of people. You never know what sort of battle someone is fighting. I suffer from several chronic illnesses and I find that I can relate to your life a lot. I know what it’s like to have to depend on your family or other caregivers to help you with very simple tasks. There have been points in my life when I’ve been unable to brush my teeth, eat on my own, get dressed, or clean myself. It can feel incredibly frustrating, and at times made me feel depressed and demeaned. I seriously commend you on sharing some of these intimate moments of your life. You mentioned in a previous video that you would like to raise awareness for quadriplegics. I think you’re doing an amazing job. As you said, most people don’t get to see these daily struggles. It’s something we keep private. I think your videos will really help people understand how much a quadriplegic/ disabled person/some with a chronic illness/etc goes through on a typical day. But also how much we can accomplish!! You are awesome Zack! I can’t wait to see more of your videos!
Zack, you remind me of an early Dr. Charles Krauthammer...a wonderful man who died today at age 68 of cancer...however he was much like you with a diving accident that left him a quadriplegic when he was around 22...He went on to finish Medical school and many other inspirational quests along his his life...you have the same drive as he talks about...
Hey I just saw this and I was on vacation in Kauai at the exact same time!! We stayed on the south shore in Poipu. Kauai is amazing ❤️ Been there a couple times and I want to go back again!!

We are all presented with choices all the time all day everyday. Zach wakes up everyday with a smile on his face and waits for someone (ugh, autotype) to help him get out of bed. Let's all wake up every morning like Zach with a smile and then go find someone to help.
Wow Zack. Thank you for filming that. I am paraplegic and have to fly to Mexico. Im kind of hesitant now. The airline should make it more easier for disabled people. Not everyone can control their spasms nor feel safe transfering with stangers. Not that they are bad people. But Ive had issues using a hoyer lift in my hospital room. I was hospitalized with kidney trama and it was time for my bath. Their was 6 nurses plus the charge nurse and nobody had been properly trained. Poor us. Its not easy. Good luck on you endeavours.
