4:55 It's supposed to be a "come get some/come over here" gesture. Akin to the image off Wolverine #1 (the miniseries from the early '80s). But I can see how it's confusing, like the alternate head for the brown suit Mafex Wolverine. Most ppl see it as him chuckling, but it's meant to be a "I'm gonna enjoy tearing you apart" expression.
My reason for getting this set was for those slash effects. Mezco never explained how they worked, so didn't know until reviews started happening. Just unfortunate that the holes are too far apart to use with other Wolverine's like the Mafex ones. And one of the effects I can't even get the claws in cause it feels like they're gonna snap with being spread apart. Resting them on top of a little flight stand will probably be the way I go. It is like a near perfect release; if only it came with a flesh tone neck to use for the cowl down look.
Amazing figure and overall set! My local comic shop just got these in but I haven't stopped by to check it out. How much was this sucker? Not sure if I can afford it right now, but it certainly looks bad ass! Love all those extra heads!!!
