MMRR’s queue at Disneyland is amazing! By going through lightning lane though, you missed half of it. Although Galaxy’s Edge is pretty identical in both coasts, Disneyland’s has more characters. And the characters are pretty current to whatever show is new on Disney+.

I go to Disneyland every month. Here's how I would have done it, very similar to Emma Rope drop Peter Pan, Dumbo, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and Gadgetcoaster (possibly Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway if it is not time for a LL yet.) First LL should be Indiana Jones at 10am In between LL, do Winnie the Pooh, Teacups, Disneyland Railroad and shows. Do single rider Space Mountain and Matterhorn. Matterhorn is one of the best single rider lines out there. They have a designated special line with a permanent sign and it always shaves off a huge chunk of time. Buy ILL for Rise of the Resistance at 1:00pm (peak crowd time.) Only buy ILL for Mickey and Minnie if you didn't do it in the morning before 10am. Late at night, before and after fireworks, do the rest of the Fantasy Land rides. P.S. You do not need to grab your fireworks spot early. I've ducked in on Main Street minutes before it starts multiple times. Maybe if you have a huge party you have to go further back on Main Street or check out viewing spots at It's a Small World.

They redesigned Space Mountain a number of years ago. They made it smoother, faster, and less prone to motion sickness.
