The misfortune would be to have all that go to the landfill. No one knows why it really went to auction. It's clear that someone didn't value the contents. I look at it as rescued inventory. 😊

Rarely do people leave money and Jewelry any place but a bank safe deposit box. You might find a bit of gold, a gem or a pocket full of forgotten cash in about 1 in every 10/20 lockers.

‘A shooting stick’ is the name for the stick you thought was to put in the ground and sit on - it’s exactly that! For taking to shoots, field sports, fayres etc. Very useful.
Jack: Check the glassware. The owl may be Murano and the bowl at the beginning is carnival glass and the pink pitcher in the box of toys too. The wooden item you thought was an umbrella holder may be a tole painted butter churn missing the top and pole.

Jack, at 15:23, the brown belt, I wonder what the stones are? If bothered, you could prize those bits and bobs off and add them to one of Janna's beading/craft lots. If they have a flat bottom, they'd be called a cabochon bead - beaders would bezel around the stone with smaller beads turning it into a pendant or focal piece. :) Love your work Jackalanch!

This locker is such a mess! I wonder if it all was packed in totes, and then the owner or a relative decided they wanted the totes, then emptied the contents in a big heaping pile. That Cricut is an old model not supported anymore. Worked with cartridges that were plugged in on the right hand side. Might be able to use it if you have some cartridges.
I cant get enough of this locker! It does look like you've gone through half considering that the bikes must be taking a lot of space. I am suspecting that a relative of the owner of these stuff took everything and stuffed it in a locker, or even a past landlord? It just doesnt seem like the person who found/collected all this stuff would be okay with stacking them like that

The leather seat you identified is known as a "shooting stick". You lean on it rather than sit properly, which allows you to take the weight off, without being in a chair, allowing quick movement when the prey is sent flying by the beaters. Interesting find
