I especially love her testimony that "this was the first time anyone slapped me" after all her admissions UNDER OATH that her father beat her. Perjury has real consequences, Amber.

Exactly what I was thinking while watching it. She's an actress, albeit a terrible one, and she's attempting to use that ability here. Just like in all of her movie roles, she's not selling it well at all. From everything I saw of the trial, all Johnny had to do was sit there and let his legal team take care of it, because Amber and her lawyers basically helped them win. They seemed to be banking on her being the woman to win.

You can tell she’s putting on this voice. She’s physically straining herself to make her voice crack like she’s crying, where as johnnys testimony comes across as legitimate and his emotions see legitimate. She comes across like when someone gets caught doing something and they word and emotion vomit to come across as sincere.

I can hear in her breaths that she's using certain old-school acting techniques to make her voice shake, she just forgot to put the rest of the necessary techniques into it to make it seem genuine!
