So beautiful lyric in English, I would have liked to Italian version as well. I can read it perfectly but singing it’s hard to follow. Anyway, it was beautifully sung. It’s very hard to loose a child, I know because I also lost a son. I miss him everyday and I am 80 now and as a Christian I will see him in not such a long time. In the meantime I try to enjoy as much as I can and be as active as I can. That’s important not to succumb in your sorrow and be as creative as you can. Then you can also be happy again. A lovely rendition of yet another lovely Masterpiece from the Maestro Morricone. I've taken the liberty of translating it to Portuguese from the Italian verses. It would have been easier to me to translate it from English to Portuguese but, being Italian and Portuguese such closely relatable languages, I felt I would be able to keep most of the subtle poetic intentions by doing it from the Italian. I could not find a translation to the Portuguese Language, and being that it is the Classical Language of Poets, I felt it deserved one, even if from someone like me, who is not a professional translator. I did my best. I hope you, who speaks and reads the Portuguese Language are able to enjoy it. No one has commented hes singing into a really old microphone which gave a true sound of your voice. I didn't understand a word you sang but I felt it, that's how great you are.

@@CormacThompson the way you put your mouth when pronouncing in Italian or English is really different, and along with that you also have to use your breath and stuff while singing... it's brilliant the result!!! next time the precise and perfect pronunciation I'll send it to you haha 🎶🤣

Cinema Paradiso is my favorite movie of all time, and while I did have a favorite instrumental version of this theme, until today I did not have a favorites vocal. Your voice, and the lovely choices you make when choosing your music, is a gift to us all. You bring pleasure, peace and teary eyes to untold numbers of people you may never know or meet which is an incredible accomplishment for a person of any age.
