This is such good timing, I only watched your first Charleville Castle video the other day! Samantha is hilarious, I love her! Oh my god, the stairs and cat gave me flashbacks to a pet shop I worked at when I was a teenager, here in Sydney. It was haunted, I have no idea who it was, but I always felt like it was a man. I'd be there all alone when the shop was closed on a Sunday, cleaning the cages and feeding the animals. The ghost would stomp around upstairs just like you heard there, and the cats would interact with him! He would walk down the wooden stairs, making a hell of a racket, to open up the electricity box and switch the lights on and off. He also really liked throwing stuff, even when the shop was actually open. The cats would watch him go, meow at him, follow him around upstairs, chase things he threw, and act as if someone was doing the "come here puss puss" thing to them. I actually came to like him, he never really did anything malicious, he seemed to like the animals, and they didn't seem concerned about him. He was a better coworker than many I've had since!
Wow, what timing. Thank you also for the pet shop story, it makes what happened at Charleville all the more intriguing. There is nothing bad there either, and the cat seems more than comfortable with it all :)
Another historic and absolutely beautiful location. Samantha’s accent made the history come alive even more. I am absolutely loving the history and the locations that you are sharing with us. Thank you for giving us the chance to be part of your travels and adventures. Much love to you both
Absolutely loved this investigation and especially loved Samantha's beautiful accent throughout 🙂....that moment where there was definite movement and the cat meowing in a strange way was very interesting indeed and also the moment where definite footsteps could be heard was simply amazing...whether this was Harriet we will never know but there was definitely a child's voice or children's voices heard quite clearly and not through any equipment either and this was astounding...another fantastic investigation ladies which was very intriguing indeed 🥰🥰
The castle is absolutely beautiful. The cat was also absolutely beautiful - I love cats. That was a very interesting investigation. I don’t know exactly why I found it so, but I did. It struck me as being very homey for a castle. Yet another five ❤❤❤❤❤review. Many Blessings.
Hi girls such a magnificent castle with a very rich history makes me wonder if someone had chopped that darn tree down and disposed of it weather the owners would have lived longer.🤔 Kag what a crack up when you saw the cat looking at you especially after hearing the story of the black creeper crawling around the table.🤣🤣The way the cat was reacting upstairs is like when our cat wants something or wants attention. The bomping about upstairs was done by something a lot heavier than a cat it sounded like the floor boards were creaking with a heavy weight. Alison the voices you heard when you were packing up sounded to me like children's voices. Also Alison just a thought maybe the touching of your hair was the little girl trying to make your head light up like the koala.😂😂🤣🤣Great episode I really look forward to your videos each week fantastic.👍🏻👻👻👻❤❤

Amazing investigation ladies. The footsteps sound to me more like a ball bouncing down the stairs, first slow then gets faster. The child voice was amazing capture! And can't forget the cat and creaking stairs. So loud. Definitely very interesting night. Thank you xx

I would be perfectly happy to never go in the Library again lol that room was TENSE when I went in. The second I walked in I felt like I had to leave. Same with the toilets on the lower floor. The whole castle has such a vibe to it, this old dear has seen A LOT.
Yeah, it was certainly tense the first time I ever went into that library. I think I stood for the most part with my back to the wall. I heard the toilets on the lower floor had their moments, but we never got to go down there to check them out. It certainly has.
10:14 A suggestion for tour guide, Samantha: the more truth is told at that site, the more 'friendly' the unseen spirits will become. The Masonic history is a good leaping off point: there is a lot in the potted history of this place that IS NOT TRUE. 15:07 If it was so dark you could not see each other in that room, how was it possible to see the 'black thing' scurry out and close the door behind it? 🤔 18:01 Orb behind Samantha 20:08 Batting 1,000 on heirs passing Before Time, connected to this site. No year markers given, alas. 20:58 And a cat named...America 24:45 As Ben from the Caspersight channel would say, 'RAMBO IT!!' Go on up there, and find out what the ghostly ruckus is all about! Even America is providing commentary! :D 35:44 Orb appears from out of the wooden panelled wall on the right, moving down diagonally 35:58 ANOTHER orb, upper right corner 37:47 ANOTHER orb, to the right of Alison's shadow 41:31 As Alison says, 'I get nothing', a tiny bright light anomaly appears, upper right corner 42:56 Is this the same 'library bay' where the governess and children allegedly were, when Harriet fell and died? The same site as the 'Masonic Library' (off limits to women and children) described earlier? 🤔 43:56 The ghost child known as 'John' is described here as a 'special needs boy': what was this boy's condition? 45:19 Light anomaly, over the framed picture on the right, above the fireplace 45:31 Another one, heading for the hearth beneath that picture (they seem to appear at the same time a sound is heard) 46:00 'Messed?' on the VOX 46:13 Male: 'Not sure' 46:36 Orb moves across the floor on the right 49:01 Orb rising up to Samantha's right 49:49 ZOOM! Incoming orb, upper right corner...does a fierce zig-zag dance in the lower right corner, abruptly disappearing into the door 😲😲 53:26 Ziggy-zaggy orb is back, to Samantha's right 54:32 That distant, echo-y voice sounds like a child 59:51 There's more to the Estes response of 'tree', than the shattered oak out front. There is also a FAMILY tree. [NB: 1:04:43 Samantha admits that she may have heard, 'My tree', or 'My trees' over the SB. 3:22 gives the so-called 'local lore' story of the tree] 1:00:11 'On the table' 1:00:29 Female voice (Kag?): '(Unclear) disappear' 1:00:51 'That's rubbish' [well, that's a start, anyway] 1:00:56 'Idiot' 1:01:01 'There's a reason' 1:01:13 'Fall'--Are they referring to the story of Harriet's slide-down-the-brass-bannister-resulting-in-a-death-fall? Or the story of that massive tree in front of the castle, being 'felled'? 1:01:16 'Lady' Was a lady responsible for, or the reason for, that 'fall'? 1:01:21 'Seen' (AAH feels the spirit is calling Alison an 'idiot' for walking into a chair or step, much earlier in the video. Perhaps what is being referred to here is the 'Fall' had been 'Seen' by someone--quite possibly, the spirit doing the talking here) 1:01:44 'Amazing' 1:02:01 'Can you...' 1:02:06 '...hear me?' 1:02:15 'Amazing'--yes, THIS is what Spirit finds amazing: that they can actually communicate through this new-fangled technology. Truly, it is! 1:02:32 'Finish it' 1:03:02 'Get out' 1:03:09 'Enough' When you are ready to talk truth, they will be ready to answer your questions. As Samantha says at 9:12: 'Let us not tell a lie.' 1:04:01 'It was a very strong male voice, giving all of that.' Thanks for that detail, Samantha
Thanks, Random, I will hopefully, try and answer a couple of the important points where I can. We have known Samantha for many years now, since our first visit in 2019. She is a passionate, funny and a warm person, and why we encourage her to join us in our investigations. She has been there for many, many years, both as an investigator and as a history guide. She has had a relationship with what is there that I am actually jealous of and witnessed myself on past visits. One video doesn't show it all, sadly. The reason one of them suddenly seemed upset was that a film crew disrespected the tree, and if lore is correct and this tree held great significance to the family, then they were definitely not happy about what happened. Sadly, there was nothing Samantha could do. That Estes was a lot longer than what you saw here, but I had to edit out names etc., so unfortunately viewers are not seeing the whole conversation or picture. This is the problem with just showing the highlights/shortened version of an investigation that went on for hours. The good news is that since we went, relationships have improved again. Harriet and Samantha have a wonderful relationship, which I have witnessed myself on past visits. So on this occasion, there did appear to be a reason behind somebody being unusually a little grumpy. The cat called America, probably is because this is where the people who now oversee the restoration come from (or Canada before they tell me off lol). As for when it is so dark, not being able to see something that is black. I can only talk from our own experiences where Kag and I have witnessed this ourselves in the past. Rarely, but over the years we have witnessed it. Whatever we have seen in other places seems to be blacker than the shadows, and the blackness moves. The room is very dark, but there is just enough ambient light to make out movement. On the live stream version of this, I did turn off the lights for the phone to show people how dark it is in there... it just didn't show up on the IR video filming under the phone, which is what we used here. 'Ramboing' it up the stairs. It may appear strange we didn't, but we abide by the rules of our locations, and sadly, that area has always been off-limits to the public due to safety issues. It is why it is roped off with signage. Even history tours are not allowed up there. Running a business myself, I know public liability insurance has a lot of conditions if they are going to insure you. The castle wasn't always in this condition, after years of neglect, so work in restoring it is being done and why we are more than happy to pay and investigate to contribute to this. Harriet is taken into the Masonic library. This was further on in the history of the building, I believe, so not sure it was even being used for this by then. By that point, both her parents had passed away. The children were being taken care of there by other family members. I guess also, if it is an emergency, they are not going to be thinking of that, they just need to put her somewhere safe, more comfortable and definitely close by. That would be the only room close to those stairs, so it would make sense when emotions are high. Most of what happened to Harriet can be found in records. Such a sad story :( There is a lot more detailed explanation of the history in our two-part interview with Samantha on our podcast, so many of these points will probably be answered there. She is immersed in the history, week in and week out, so one of those episodes is dedicated solely to this. :) In the moment, we have to try to make sense of what we hear rapidly, so we can continue to communicate. We can also mishear until we listen back. Audio pareidolia can also be a great thing too in the moment. Our brains are tricky things! We don't have time to ruminate over what they could be meaning when in the heat of it all. It is why we are always happy for people to give their angle on what they could have meant and what they are hearing, and it definitely makes for great discussion afterwards. :) Hopefully, this answers some of your points? As always, thank you for watching and for your input on what you are hearing 😊
Alison, you are diplomacy itself! 🤗🤗Did not expect such a detailed response--at this date, the most elaborate I have yet received, and I appreciate that effort, very much indeed. You are quite right: being there, in the moment, is a lot more difficult when interpreting sounds and signals. We 'armchair investigators' have the luxury of time (and tech) to slow playback, go frame-by-frame, et al. Spirit is, by nature, respectful--but that only goes so far, without reciprocity. I find the response to Samantha (centred specifically around that dining room) highly unusual. She does not 'bait' the ghosts in that house, and always appears to show kindness and concern. You suggested that the responses involved the film crew's 'mistreatment' of the massive tree, and that such a response could not occur outdoors. But it CAN occur outdoors--and that is just one curiosity. The extreme language in that setting (b, c, and w words) is unique; and the spirit wielding such cuss-words has more than a bone to pick--perhaps an entire skeleton. I appreciate your friendship with Samantha; I'm glad things have 'calmed down' for her there. So many unanswered questions... Thank you again, Alison, for your time and trouble! 😌👋@@haunted-horizons
Oh my goodness, I will always reply where I can and as long as it needs. I firmly believe that if people are good enough to make an effort to post, whatever their views, it is only courtesy to respond 😊 Hopefully, I can always do that with people on here, as we have a great community who are all very treasured. We only request that the page remain relaxed, fun and safe place for all to feel comfortable, with a dash of kindness. Kag and I decided a long time ago... life really is too short, so if we can bring a smile while doing what we are passionate about, even better

It is definitely very special, and we just love it.
18:01 Orb behind Samantha
20:08 Batting 1,000 on heirs passing Before Time, connected to this site. No year markers given, alas.
20:58 And a cat named...America
24:45 As Ben from the Caspersight channel would say, 'RAMBO IT!!' Go on up there, and find out what the ghostly ruckus is all about! Even America is providing commentary! :D
35:44 Orb appears from out of the wooden panelled wall on the right, moving down diagonally
35:58 ANOTHER orb, upper right corner
37:47 ANOTHER orb, to the right of Alison's shadow
41:31 As Alison says, 'I get nothing', a tiny bright light anomaly appears, upper right corner
42:56 Is this the same 'library bay' where the governess and children allegedly were, when Harriet fell and died? The same site as the 'Masonic Library' (off limits to women and children) described earlier? 🤔
43:56 The ghost child known as 'John' is described here as a 'special needs boy': what was this boy's condition?
45:19 Light anomaly, over the framed picture on the right, above the fireplace
45:31 Another one, heading for the hearth beneath that picture (they seem to appear at the same time a sound is heard)
46:00 'Messed?' on the VOX
46:13 Male: 'Not sure'
46:36 Orb moves across the floor on the right
49:01 Orb rising up to Samantha's right
49:49 ZOOM! Incoming orb, upper right corner...does a fierce zig-zag dance in the lower right corner, abruptly disappearing into the door 😲😲
53:26 Ziggy-zaggy orb is back, to Samantha's right
54:32 That distant, echo-y voice sounds like a child
59:51 There's more to the Estes response of 'tree', than the shattered oak out front. There is also a FAMILY tree. [NB: 1:04:43 Samantha admits that she may have heard, 'My tree', or 'My trees' over the SB. 3:22 gives the so-called 'local lore' story of the tree]
1:00:11 'On the table'
1:00:29 Female voice (Kag?): '(Unclear) disappear'
1:00:51 'That's rubbish' [well, that's a start, anyway]
1:00:56 'Idiot'
1:01:01 'There's a reason'
1:01:13 'Fall'--Are they referring to the story of Harriet's slide-down-the-brass-bannister-resulting-in-a-death-fall? Or the story of that massive tree in front of the castle, being 'felled'?
1:01:16 'Lady' Was a lady responsible for, or the reason for, that 'fall'?
1:01:21 'Seen' (AAH feels the spirit is calling Alison an 'idiot' for walking into a chair or step, much earlier in the video. Perhaps what is being referred to here is the 'Fall' had been 'Seen' by someone--quite possibly, the spirit doing the talking here)
1:01:44 'Amazing'
1:02:01 'Can you...'
1:02:06 '...hear me?'
1:02:15 'Amazing'--yes, THIS is what Spirit finds amazing: that they can actually communicate through this new-fangled technology. Truly, it is!
1:02:32 'Finish it'
1:03:02 'Get out'
1:03:09 'Enough'
When you are ready to talk truth, they will be ready to answer your questions. As Samantha says at 9:12: 'Let us not tell a lie.'
1:04:01 'It was a very strong male voice, giving all of that.' Thanks for that detail, Samantha
Such a sad story :(
There is a lot more detailed explanation of the history in our two-part interview with Samantha on our podcast, so many of these points will probably be answered there. She is immersed in the history, week in and week out, so one of those episodes is dedicated solely to this. :)
In the moment, we have to try to make sense of what we hear rapidly, so we can continue to communicate. :)
Hopefully, this answers some of your points?
Words to live by, m9. Words to live by! 💖💖@@haunted-horizons
Amazing ❤
Thank you Sharyn ❤️
Ladies, you might want to view around 41.30 in, Alison is sitting and doing Estes.
I think she says "Boy" and just before she touches her hair, it looks like an orb comes out of her head.
Thanks for that Steve, I will go take a look 😊
@@haunted-horizonsWill be interested to see what you find
Love love love you girls❤❤❤❤ best yet
Thanks Joy, glad you enjoyed. Thank you also for your support xx
I’m from Tullamore and the story of Harriet is so sad.
Such a beautiful place. Harriet's story really is so sad and why we take things when we go. We just love Ireland so much.
May thanks for your prayers for me helped me sleep
That was very interesting something was going on with the cute cat the way it was meowing was very strange. They don’t behave that way for no reason. You did catch so many things. 👻😂
It is such a great location Leanne, we just love it there. Glad you enjoyed ❤

Loved the investigation two of the best girls on utube also what an awesome castle simply beautiful.
Naw, thank you! It is such a beautiful place, we can't help but keep going back :)
I actually found your channel through Paranormal Quest and Amy's Crypt. Love both of those shows as well always cool to see you guys collaborate on Ghost hunts together all of you guys should get together sometime. That would be awesome 😎😎😎
@@galensankey7840 both great friends of ours... we love them both!! We have worked together, when we brought PQ out to Australia to do events for us with Amy's Crypt. Sadly, it is our filming so not brilliant, and we weren't using microphones back then. Here is the link though :) th-cam.com/video/_tcZ4JunZPM/w-d-xo.html
I have seven cats. And a black one marley love the cat
The cat was so cute, I couldn't leave it out lol.
What a beautiful castle, I wish I had the opportunity to go there. No one fell asleep on this one lol.
So we think! I am suspicious on what Kag got up to when she was on her own in the red room on that comfy bed!! 😂😋
I got up at 6 am USA time in my area missed it at 4 for live watching now
Oh no. The time difference is such a problem between you and us. Hopefully when clocks change in a few weeks it will be easier. Maybe I will alternate times otherwise.
Good 👍 job
Thank you so much 😀
Doh! I found one I missed!
Glad you found it xx
Yes
Alison offended a ghost? I am shocked.😮😂
I may have broken a promise lol
Bad girl you are!😉
A quiet one but nevertheless a lovely place to be.😊
It so is, one of our favourites with one of our favourite guides too :)
Thank you for not adding all that background music and dramatic tones. I couldn’t hear anything in amyscrypt video. Love them but dislike the suspense music. I wanna hear silence to hear the evps
I am a rubbish editor and don't have time to learn, so fortunately, background music will never become my thing on this channel. You are safe! lol. Thank you for that feedback as I do wonder sometimes if I should. But happy to not. xx
The cats name is Mirka , i pronounce it funny sorry for any confusion im gona blame the irirsh accent 🐈⬛
Don't ever blame that lovely accent! Mirka has been quite a hit lol ❤
I heard a child
It does sound like one, just couldn't work out what was being said or if just giggling.
