I think everyone has been slacking on the mk1 builds lol Glad I could help, get back on it. Nothing worse than seeing unfinished projects getting parted.
Hey, buddy, I have a question. I do have a ft550 running on my mk1 caddy I went from Wire gas pedal drive by wire But I cannot get it to irproperly on the drive. I wire and the other thing is, once it's warm up. It won't last start uncool start it will star but like rav high And I know it's how you Set your idle on the car. But I already missed what it like. Turn it up and down change numbers I cannot get it to work
Recheck the wiring again Also fueltech is weird You must calibrate the tps first Then save Then shut car off Key on Read ecu Then calibration is set If it cannot calibrate wiring is bad
@@SmithsEuro and everything seems fine with just the single tooth pickup? I’m assuming ignition timing comes from the crank trigger then right? I’m eventually going with the FT550 on a mk4 build so as much info before digging in helps lol. It sucks you lost the wiring clips
Wifes reaction at the end to a solid start on a beast engine was totally awesome :)

Trying to have a deadline to drive it down the road
@@SmithsEuro fingers crossed for you! I feel left out with my still NA R32… still haven’t actually heard a VR6T in person before 😩!
@ajkr32 find a vw track day youll see them
Worth a ticket
It's gonna be a flipping rocket 🚀🚀 nice.
I just want to have every gear spin tires lol
@@SmithsEuro it will. Assuming you don't have limited slip.
@json8172 it has a peloquin
But 15” wheels 205’s and 600hp will have it roasting tires
oh lol yup - that will also do the trick. Hell yah!@@SmithsEuro
Cammed Vr6 FTW
Hydro 298 cat cams FTW
I didn’t realise you could go that wild on the hydros, I settled for 288’s but not started it up yet.
I want some whomp whomp
@europeanfwd the 288’s sound great too
Idle sound depends heavily on tuning as well
The ft550 let me dial it in perfectly
FT600 here and it’s on full methanol.
Look forward to seeing more on the rabbit

One day we will have this and your corrado out at a show
@@SmithsEuro Hell yes, I'm down for that
Great job guys I absolutely love it!! You made that intake for the vr6???
No i bought this intake, its ill fitting so plan to make one down the road
This thing sounds nasty! Are you using the oem cam trigger and sensor? If so how did you get them to work on the FT set up?
I am
But have had issues with the mk4 version
Seems mk3 or “single tooth” is the only way to work consistently

@codysmith5957 yea after sync it’s ignored
Just really for starting to make it fire in full sequential
