    I enjoyed the video but have some questions. What temperature did you roast tomitillo, onion, and garlic? Didyou just broen your pork plain or did you coat it? How and what temperature did you saute the meat?

      Video shows text to Broil Tomatillos, Onion, garlic, for 10-15 minutes at 525 degrees.

      That sounds so yummy! Yes! Just add the raw potato cubes at the top and it should all cook through together. I'm trying this!

      You can definitely use any other protein and follow the same recipe :) if you eat chicken, I’ve tried it and it’s soooo good.

    • @JessicaRiddy
      @JessicaRiddy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually use the Costco kirkland bulk one. But I’ve made my own in the instant pot. I’ll be posting that video soon 👌🏽

    Thanks for sharing, Is the pork soft? I have this issue where for some reason my meat isn’t tender/soft it’s like still kinda rough :/ definitely get discouraged a lot when I cook lol

    • @JessicaRiddy
      @JessicaRiddy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no! Don't get discouraged, this pork recipe has always come out tender for me. If you are using frozen pork, just add a bit more time to the pressure cooker. Let me know if you try this Chile Verde!

      Use pork butt, it will come out very tender, just be sure to cut out all the extra fat. I use the butt with bone in, it comes out more flavorful. And blend with cilantro. So yummy!

    I add chilantro, and if the tomatillo is too bitter, i add sugar (monk fruit for keto)

    The "brown" stuff at the bottom of the pot when searing the pork is called the "Fond"
    Youre welcome

    Oven? Stove? Is that REALLY necessary? The PC can cook them, though they won’t looked 🥵 burnt... dump it over some rice hun!

      Agreed! But also something nostalgic and tasty with how my abuelo taught me to cook this recipe ♥️
