This was a new lead singer who had just joined the band, bass player, Wayne Nelson. He should’ve sung lead on every song after this!

You’ll love “Help Is On It’s Way”. The harmonies are always killer. Please make sure you get to react to this one at some point.

J and Amber you have got to do *Happy Anniversary* ... tremendous song and a cool underlying meaning! 😉
LRB just makes you happy and smile!! Just saw them live a few weeks back and got to sit and talk with them for a little bit. Obviously different band members these days, but they're cool!

Yes yes yes, such a good song and love Wayne Nelson as lead on this one, he’s so cool, and this song has such a great vibe. Harmonies are A+ as always from LRB 💛

It was Wayne Nelson the Bass guitarist in the band that sung this with Glen Shorrock coming in on the chorus. After Glen left LRB , John Farnahm joined the band for a while until he went solo. As a point of interest John had s stellar career in Australia andWayne Nelson played in many of Johns live concerts through the 80's and 90's. I think you have done one of Johns songs already, you should do more, but stay with the live concerts they are so much better.

For the longest time I thought this was John Farnham on lead vocals... it sounds like him! Didn't realize it was Wayne Nelson (bass). When you get to Farnham, check him out on his own, especially his rendition of the Beatles' "Help," which he's made his own. There's a reason he's called "The Voice."
My fave LRB track is "Help Is On Its Way," which I'm sure you'll review next. ;)

Vincent jay and Amber have heard John Farnham sing help and the voice but they may not realise he was in Little River Band for a while.

I love LRB. About 6-7 years ago, I was driving Uber, and three ladies got into the car. One was younger, but the other two were about my age. (I was born in '60.) One of the ladies, who was apparently the mother of the younger one, spotted my LRB Greatest Hits CD and commented on it. She said that I would get a 5 rating just for having that in my car, but I told her I would pop it in for her. We got through 4 or 5 songs during the ride, with the mother repeatedly telling her daughter things like "This was OUR music. It is what we listened to." The daughter seemed to dig it as well.
A nice companion for this (thematically, anyway, but quite different musically) is Supertramp's "Lover Boy."

One of my favorite tunes of all time. Love the guitars, the overall vibe of the song. First time I heard this song I was floored by the fact it came from LRB. Spent many hours rolling down the autobahns of Germany with this song roaring in my car. I think the stereo system was worth more than the car, so this song definitely woke up the Germans in the mornings on my way into the base at Rhein-Main.
