Republican strategist Rina Shah says the Democratic party is missing an opportunity with younger candidates who are in elected positions across the country. Chris Hahn says Michigan Gov. I don't think any other Dem will get the nomination if, as i'm over 95% sure, Biden runs next year. An incumbent president NEVER gets primaried out. If Biden loses next year's general, then I think there's a good chance that California Governor Gavin Newson has a good shot at the nomination in '28. Posting 12-23-23. PS: I used to think that if any state would flip from red to blue next year, it would be North Carolina, but as of right now, I just don't foresee it.

Gretchen Whitmer would probably make a good candidate. But she has made numerous comments that she clearly is not interested. Remember when Trump called her "that woman in Michigan"? That was deep in the middle of the 2020 Covid debacle. Plus, his little weasle darling, Betsy DeVos, also being from Michigan, wasn't exactly a friend of Gov Whitmer.

As an older adult, I think it's time to give the next generation a chance. It's time for those who inherit the mess being left have a role in fixing it. It's not that Biden isn't doing a good job.
