Hillary was tabled by Comey’s last minute information about her.
Soon after the beginning of his term trump was interviewed by a newsman. (Leroy was in his name?) They were talking about Hillary. Out of trump’s mouth slid the sentence,
      “She should have won.”
Comey received a last minute piece of information and announced he was reopening the case about Hillary. Now we know that was misinformation.
I can trust Harris to not abandon our long term allies.
I can trust her to know how Biden deals with a new problem or crisis.
I can trust her to know who to talk to.
I can trust her to be diplomatic.
I can trust her to not start World War III.
I can trust her to not freely steal, hide and disclose the secret information that keeps our defense strong.

I have concerns that Harris wouldn’t be able to defeat Trump, however the reference to Clinton is a red herring.
      1. People hadn’t lived through a Trump Presidency in 2016, now they have.
      2. There was significant complacency in 2016, mildly Clinton inclined / anti Trump voters believed a Clinton victory was a foregone conclusion, so didn’t turn out.
(Edited to correct typo; Frump to Trump)

I think more voters might remember the trump term more fondly than this one.
The only reason this race is even competitive is the election denial, 6.1, abortion, and trump's character - not people "remembering the trump presidency". That is *his* advantage.
Harris is tainted with this administration's unpopularity, is highly unlikable, bad at speaking, and has very problematic baggage from her time as DA.
She is perhaps the only mainstream candidate *less* popular than biden.
The comparison to hillary is striking.
If biden is replaced, there is literally nothing the GOP would love more.
The DNC needs someone moderate, charismatic, and not tainted by this administration. She is the literal horror candidate, which is why nearly no one wants her to rum.

They produced this video very fast after the debate. hmmm. It's all planned. Rodger Stone a Trump supporter said 2 years ago that the plan is for Biden to release his delegates to Michelle Obama at the convention. Wake up the elites are keeping you asleep. Why did they do it this way? Biden is simply a Trojan horse.

    • @Walter-tp9uv
      @Walter-tp9uv หลายเดือนก่อน

I think that Biden has done very well, not the best, but very well. I will write a separate comment, everyone can respond to that, if they wish.
In short, people don't appreciate the wisdom of someone being in the public life for more than 40 years. I personally think that he was very smart. Because Trump has been such a liar, everything put to him about his lie, he would just make a new lie to cover his previous lie, sometimes actually making his previous lie sounds reasonable, but they are all lies.
Biden was not falling into that trap, but tactically avoid confronting Trump's lies on the stage, there was no need, public knows they are lies. .. I will write more on that in my other comment.
Let us focus on Trump. No Trump didn't do well, He loses so badly. I can say that it was so bad for him.
      1. He demonstrates that he can not answer a single question that is important to the public.
      2. He demonstrates to the stage that he is saying nothing but lies, every single thing he said on the stage were lies.
      3. He demonstrates that he was one who was taking drugs for performance enhancement, not Biden.
      4. He was put in front of the public by Biden as A Sucker, and A Loser.
      5. He was put in front of the public by Biden with a creditable source that Trump is the worst President of United State, not Biden, the accusation that Trump would use multiple times in every rally.
      6. He was put to the public by Biden that his accusation that Biden Administration putting up Tax for 4 folds is a lie, Biden promised to Trump's base on National Televisions that anyone with income less than $400,0000 would not get a single cent Tax rise.
      7. He was put to the public by Biden, with reasons that, inflation would get even worst under Trump's policy, and Trump's policies are not good for the economy.
      8. He shows to the public that even his wife is not supporting him.
These are the main eight points, there are more...

There's no democratic candidate that can win this year-- very simple reason. The democratic party betrayed its voter base by propping up Biden --> and so now anyone who replaces him automatically loses the trust of the people.

This (Biden's age problem) should have happened in the Democratic debate (have there been one) and the party could have put up a good candidate against Trump. They wouldnt have to put the current President in this awkward position.
Biden is a likeable guy, that was why he was elected in the first place. Even now, most people feel sorry for him. But people also know (now and even before) that he cannot be burdened with another 4 yr at the WH. That is just torture.
Having said that, the party is in a bad state. People who saw the debate now put the blame on the party and Jill. They look like they are torturing a senior citizen. And it maybe too late to change the candidate (if they want to win). The damage is done.

Naturally, VP Harris is the most likely choice. I do admit that she may not be pleasing to some people. Some may say that she doesn't know enough. that may be true. But every new President learns while on the job. Each person is prepared/ trained on a daily basis by the Office of the President to function efficiently. To my knowledge (apart from re-elected presidential candidates) only
President Biden and Hillary Clinton knew all that is required on day1 of after taking office. With that being said everyone learned while on the job! So, VP Harris definitely should be considered greatly. Even in a debate, Ms. Harris would easily decimate /dispelTrump and his bank of lies. Since Thursday's debate she has ripped the lying DJT facade into multiple pieces by comparing and contrasting the Presidencies of Mr Biden vs. the awful and extremely costly Trump time in office; and more importantly : telling the truth! In a nutshell, VP Harris definitely has what it takes to be President. If Mr. Biden steps down( I seriously hope he does not!), VP Harris will get my vote!

I don't know what kamala Harris did in California. But for the last 10 years she has been coasting. She was given the border crisis as her task to come up with a solution. She made a couple of trips to Cancun and Cozumel, came back tanned and relaxed and said "Sorry, Joe... I got nothing."

Giving a VP the task of solving the border crisis while coming off of a Pandemic was a glass cliff assignment and showed lack of leadership on the part of Biden. I felt she was being set up. Not cool.

WELL, DOH, DO YOU ALL HAVE THE MEMORY OF A FLEA? That was barely three months ago. CAN VOTERS BE AS INCREDIBLY IGNORANT AND LACKING IN INFORMATION MEMORY AS DT THINKS THEY ARE? LOOKS LIKE IT.

They need to beg Michelle. It's been suggested more than once, maybe they need to call on her formally, make a statement that by popular demand we want her to come out of retirement and be our president. She beats Trump in polls, she was a high powered lawyer, and learned about the inner workings of the White House for 8 years, she was a first lady who has the background to understand and advise on all that went on. She is well liked and respected, beyond reproach. Neither Obama have any of the scandals that Trump has. More political experience than Trump when he was elected. She would beat him hands down and make a wonderful president.

I'm not American so this is all completely baffling to me. Why would anybody vote for someone with obvious signs of dementia to run the most powerful country in the world? Are you all insane? And isn't Robert Kennedy a democrat? If so, the replacement is obvious, isn't it? And why is it such a problem having a shorter time? Where I live our election campaigns run for about six to eight weeks, as they do in many countries. As I said, it's all completely baffling.

Biden was the pick because he seemed the most moderate. Now that they only have far leftist candidates they have a problem of their own making. Democrats don't believe in the idea of a United States they believe in catering to special groups. America to them is not a melting pot of people it is a garden salad of groups scrambling for power.

Had they not been so crucial to have for the Democrats in the House, then I would say either Swalwell or Raskin would be the best choices for presidential candidates - with perhaps either Klobuchar, Warren as the VP.
