You could also cut out the bottom and dig a hole under the bucket so you can burry the poop and (the right) toilet paper after and it decomposes without trash bags
you could leave ~1cm on the rim of the bottom, so the buckets don't fall out, but the poop still goes through and won't touch it if you aim right^^ (if not then might have to wash it then)
2gud4umenglez not everybody are thieves, you just need imagination, tools and some basic skills. you don't need to be an engineer to be creative, having basic workshop knowledge is far enough to do what Grant do by yourself and if you have a good imagination, you don't even need his videos to reproduce the results (or at least, create improved versions of his creations).
I'm a big fan of Bear Grylls and this is pretty dang cool. Not only is it a business bucket, but you can bundle your entire survival kit in it. I'd love to put one together in this fashion.

another great addition is a small bag of kitty litter. After each - um - "visit" cover the waste with the kitty litter. Use sparingly and dont overload with so much that you risk ripping the bag. Might be good to double up! Using an absorbent brand will also help soak up excess liquid.

I saw it first on the "russian daycare" channel (which is great too /channel/UCfMD4_sn6if0IBoyct6LnzA) I may add a little bit of advice because i made and used it: after fitting the garbage bag into the bucket, if you want to avoid strange suction and pressure phenomena while you're doing "business" (the bag is fluffy and not adhering to the sides, so your...products... may stick on the fluffy sides and make a mess) simply put an inch of earth/gravel/sand into the bucket before business, it'll stabilize the bag and make it adhere to the sides, also making an absorbent media for "liquids". trust me, it's necessary.
Been doing this for years except we use commode bags with the absorbent pads...makes it better your waist don't splash or leak out on you ,but the tube is a great idea it won't hurt the rump when you sit.....

Really good video. Replace air freshener with Glen 20 (disinfectant spray), can be used to disinfect surfaces AND acts as an air freshener.
