    Excellent Johnny, either my favourite or second favourite interview in this series, perhaps part 5 made it my favourite ?

    Outstanding series very likeable and it’s great to hear someone who admits that they don’t win all the time
    I hope he manages to make it pay

    Really enjoyed this. Johnny Dineen should buy a few horses and start a racing club. Thousands would join!

      I don't think that's Johnny's aim in this industry but I'm sure he'll correct me if I got that wrong

    Although gambling is Johnny's life he has a sturdy attitude, a great understanding of both winning and losing and the ability to just take a loss and dust himself down and get ready for the next day , a admiral character who seems to adjust himself to the current situations and stay afloat ..

    People like Johnny must have a great wife. To deal with your partners ups and downs humor wise plus the fact of the pressure of staying in the black.
    Great to listen to. I’d love to hear the proper stories he’d be able to talk about instead of getting barred off TH-cam 😂

    Great interview , Johnny is funny and insghtful but one thing i never understand is why any pro bothers with bookies when you have the exchanges ?you can always get on with betfair or betdaq and with a better price

    What would your average stake be Johnny ?

    • @jackdineen8983
      @jackdineen8983 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The odd 3 figure play, usually 4 and maybe twice a year i might have a 5, but that would be a rarity. I’m guessing the average would be 1500 to 2k

    Was Charles Byrnes good backing other people's horses or just his own? Curley would back other people's horses too.

    • @jackdineen8983

      Charles is better with his own, I’d say he’d admit that himself. I wouldn’t say he does too much outside of his own yard to be honest
