You have to add chime in the app under devices, then press reset button on the side, ready To connect.. in app you can set different sounds, volume etc.
I currently have a nest door bell. Can you compare the dimensions between the two? Particularly with the back plate. Also would like to see how well it integrates with Google displays.
As far as I can tell, I still have it installed it on my front door, but it has a lock pin, not so much a screw. You simply have to use the included tool to unlock the pin to remove it.
That's a really great question. It would take some long-term testing to really figure that out. The battery is rated for up to 6 months, so I really doubt it would be too much of an issue depending on how much your streaming.
Some folks waste so much time. Setup doesn't happen till almost 7 minutes into the video. 6.5 minutes that could have been used to teach and define settings and options - elements that help a buyer understand the device and it's features.
Only looks good as far as connection and real time response is very poor, I have at least 12 different type cameras and bought two of the door bells ((first Gen)) and still in box cause they don’t work I doubt these will. They changed the software and it’s horrible and I have no choice cause I have lots of cameras already, there is good and bad with this company. I don’t have this doorbell I’m just speaking of experience.
Avoid. Have it. Things I want wyze fix it. Poor audio Poor range, less than video door bell pro Poor battery Doesn't prerecorded few secs before event like ring Doesn't come with wall plug to power.
What about the chime? Mine is still saying waiting to connect
Does Alexa automatically go live view when doorbell is activated? Does Alexa allow 2way audio?
Does the wall plate/back of camera use the same locking system so you don't have to add new holes?
I dont think so unfortunately
I can’t get the chime to work. I have the triggers set in the app but it won’t actually ring
Hmmmm - should be pretty self explanatory. Wonder if you have a bum ringer? Is the chime showing up as connected to the network?

Awesome review.
Thanks! Hope it was helpful.

@@TechItBeforeYouWreckIt I subscribed to see the "lock pin", I bought the last Wyze doorbell just to return it after it had no security lock
@@MrYouchaskimtube The Wyze unboxing video shows this: th-cam.com/video/ithf_cfW3Tw/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&t=86
I am curious if the battery drains faster just using the onboard memory card for video playback as opposed to the cloud subscription?

It only does 24 recording if u hook it to power wire and not on the battery 😢 I can’t connect my cam unlimited on the duo cam doorbell .
Of course, good point! That battery would be dead in no time otherwise. 😢
Does the battery stay in even if the doorbell is connected to hardwire?
Yes, battery is always needed.
cool 😎
Does it have 24/7 recording? Or records are only limited to detected motions and doorbell?
Yes, records 24/7 if you add a microSD card.
@@TechItBeforeYouWreckItonly if you’re connected to power of course.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to jump into the setup sooner next time.
Jean, he had chapters in the video. Scrubbing is your friend. Nice review
@epdiablo25 thx! Yes, chapters are your friend. I know not everyone wants to watch the entire unbox process.
