Traxxas Slash 4x4 Pvc drift tires

- Traxxas Slash 4x4 Pvc drift tires. These tires slide over the stock Traxxas slash tires tightly and drift very well. It is 4" PVC that is cut into 1 3/4" slices. Sanded the inside edge. You may also take the Wheels with out rubber and glue them on to the rim, either way would work. Note that some tires might not fit or need a bigger or smaller pipe. Thanks For watching. Spray the pvc with flex seal and boom! Racing slicks
Cut some furncoe fittings and stretch over tires then you have racing slicks🤔🥴

The drift tires are designed to be slippery and you'll need some good offroading tires to not get stuck in the mud

use a light soap mixture... they will go in super easy and the soap will dry with out leaving a residue. kool idea.

Correction: The art of sliding with an E-Brake or a normal brake is called drifting. What you are referring to as "drifting" isn't drifting and it is power-sliding. Many drifters such as Ken Block will power-slide and drift but mostly drifting. Thanks a lot and have a nice day being schooled.

This method just caught on to the Japanese's, now they're doing it to their cheap full scale Kei (pronounced "K") using aquarium grade PVC rings. Noriyaro got a good video on that!

there are slicks out there... you'd have traction but still would be able to drift.

the problem with homemade drift wheels opposed to the store bought ones is they dont have the tapered edges like a drift wheel so it doesn't bite the ground the way real drift wheels have

I believe on both of my sidewinder esc's (ones a sidewinder sct for my slash) there's a low power mode on them where you can use nimh batteries but I'm not sure on his

buy some stock rims no foam or rubber and have fun I use it for my savage and work great
now you just gotta add some obsticals to drift around instead of just an open area. would make it more challenging.
