    Trees in Bellevue is great. Living in a place with no trees is horrible. The trees keep our air clean. The trees keep it beautiful.
    Things are done better in Bellevue. It takes a bit longer to make things nicer.
    I agree this is not an out on the town bar place. Love that because it could be awful like downtown Seattle, or the U-District.
    One feels safe walking around . On the Seattle streets I was afraid to go out and walk alone.

    She just wants everyone to think Seattle, I live east of Bellevue and it’s where we go for the mall to shop, the Korean and Japanese markets are there too. Some really good restaurants also. There are bars, just not the big nightclubs. The whole Seattle metro area is just expensive to rent or own. You need to drive about 20 miles south or further for affordable housing.
    The light rail, really is designed to handle the north/south traffic volume, in ad out of Seattle, the Eastside link was done to help the large number of Microsoft employees who may live in Seattle. It does little to deal with the traffic issues on I-405.
    If you can afford Bellevue or east to Sammamish, it’s much better than the issues in Seattle metro.

    You don't live in Bellevue, you WORK in Bellevue.
    Lowest rent i've seen for a studio apartment is like 2k minimum. I live in Des Moines and it's 1300 for a 1 bedroom, spacious apartment.

    Tova, are you originally from one of the Great Lakes states? Or is the Seattle accent just similar?

    How about mass transit? How are the bus service and routes in Bellevue?

    • @jordancayco

      Excellent. Sound Transit has been very reliable.

      Bus service is decent. The light rail is opening April 27th of this year, so that will help to connect to Seattle.

    • @jordancayco
      @jordancayco 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LivinginSeattleWashington it's not going to connect to Seattle for another 10 years, the rail in Mercer Island Bridge is not up to code. it's only gonna do South Bellevue Park and Ride upto Redmond

      @@karelglasner2673 He's a homeboy. My family maintained a presence in Medina from the 40s through 70s, and most of this time, lived in small houses, either rented or owned. We were not rich, and there was no such thing as upper or lower class. Kids roamed free throughout the neighborhood, trespassing with impunity on some of the mega-rich estates. I assume it's a lot snootier and security-minded nowadays. I have a very good impression of the really rich people there. They supported the public school system, and lots of rich kids rode the bus to school. The Bellevue schools are some of the best in the country, because the rich took an interest in the community. It's not like Bill lives there because he's rich: It's ALWAYS been his home. That matters to a lot of people.

      You don’t HAVE to walk around with narcan. You could just walk by them and let the problem sort itself out
