I think not having support is a lot of our reality, sadly. My mom lives in Mexico so I had to learn to be a mom all by myself, my husband worked full time. It was just my son and I 24/7. My parents didn’t get to meet my son until he was over a month old. It’s hard not having a village. You are truly so blessed and I’m happy you get that experience 🩷
Yes I agree and actually my family are just 20 min from me and they never ask to watch my girls or when we ask both sides of family they just say they can’t and my partner works so it’s always just me and my two little girls but not having a village is very hard . I wish I can have a break here and there like others but she’s very blessed and her mom is such an angel to take care of her the way she does 🫶🏼🩷
Yes it’s so hard not having family close by. I have three and feel like I’ve been alone through it all and it can be mentally draining at times but we gotta keep pushing 😔

Your mom is a true angel! She’s definitely a role model for me, i want to do the same for my daughter in the future and i will 100% do all the things noone did for me postpartum! The only village i needed was a mom during that time and i didn’t have her so my goal is to do everything for my girl when it’s her time 🥹❤️

I practice gentle parenting as much as I can and being Mexican sometimes our parents think we are not doing the right thing sometimes and seeing how gentle Franco is definitely is proof that it works. You inspire me to be much more gentle and calm with my 4 year old 🧒🏻
I think you made a video about the quarentena when you had Franco but i was wondering if you could tell us what all you can't do, eat etc. And what are the reasons for it as well as like things that helped you with milk supply. When i had my son i had so much trouble and i tried everything.

No one prepares you for the mom guilt when you have a second! But your mom is absolutely correct, everything is okay! Someone once told me that giving your child a sibling is the best gift you could give them, and I stand by that!
You definitely are blessed because you get a lot of help by your mom and hubby ! Not many in the real world can have all that help and make postpartum so easy and peaceful … 🙏🏼👍🏻

Everyone who is helping you through out your postpartum journey is a blessing and thanks to them you get to enjoy baby girl. My mom felt the exact same with my last two siblings however I was already 15 and I never left her side I was always helping her. Just know your a good mom and Franco loves you and he’s happy being a big brother 💖

Nothing like having moms support ❤ I just had my babygirl 1 week ago and stayed at my parents home for a week and my mom would make me my avenas and caldos and now im back home and I sure do miss her pampering me and helping me with Baby! It really is a big help. Gracias a dios algunas de nosotras tenemos ese apoyo. Mis respetos para las que no tienen el apoyo y tienen que hacer todo para ellas mismas . As a first time mom I’m due in September and I one hundred agree on having a village I can feel the support from my parents and boyfriend all the time. Even while being at work la ayuda ahí está siempre it’s definitely going to be bittersweet, listening to your postpartum journey twice helps me out so much as to what to expect and unmediated birth helped me out so much it’s pain you get to control with your mind. Your doing great at being a mom of two keep going 🫶🏽

So privileged to have that support 🥺. My mom worked full time when my son was born. Plus my son was in the nicu for 3 weeks so I kinda had to skip my caring for myself lol.

I am 8 weeks postpartum. My Son just turn 2 on January 25 & New born on February 8th. So I understand you completely. I had Mom Guilt but lately I been spending much more time with my toddler and staying positive and thankful for my little family. You Are Doing Great.

You have it easy girl! I’m glad you are seeing the light, it’s bittersweet to realize how big your first born looks compared to your new born. Like your mom, I didn’t have any help, any visits when my 3 babies were born & they were back to back. As time goes on it gets easier 🥰

Hearing you say when did you grow up to franco, I felt that so much. I have a 3 yr old and a 9 month old both csections so it was hard not to carry my toddler or anything really with him for 6 weeks, I would cry everyday. Blanca (you might not read this but I wanted to share 💕)first of all congratulations on your little bundles of joy ❤️ your kids are beautiful! I love you so much for sharing this video, it got to my heart because it reminded me of being postpartum. I’m a mom of a 4 yr old and almost 1 yr old. My mom came to take care of me with my first for the first 2 weeks. After that I was on my own with my husband. It was hard but not as much as my second. This second time around, my husband helped me physically and mentally but he had to go back to work (night shifts ) . I was all alone with my 2girls at home and mentally going through a dark time. I would cry for hours and hours, my toddler would cry. It was a horrible postpartum experience. Motherhood is a beautiful thing but they don’t talk about how hard it is 😞It breaks my heart because I love my daughters so much and I hate that it scares the living shit out of me thinking about feeling like that again. It was the most lonely time of my life. I eventually felt better but i still struggle to this day. I also gained a lot of weight and I have bad back pains from I think was caused by the epidural. I’m crying while typing this because I realized that I only have my daughters in this world 💕 please Blanca if you’re reading this, please thank god for your village. Especially your mother and Jonathan. Go and give them a humongous hug because people like them in this world are priceless 💕 I love you so much 🥺

Hi Blanca, you’re doing an amazing job. You’re truly an amazing mom. I like how your mom gave you advice about not focusing on the big emotions you’re feeling but I also recommend you talk to a therapist and ask them about joining a postpartum support group. I think that would help you a lot❤

Hermosa si puedes comer lechuga y repollo ...lo que yo tengo entendido Para uno de papas mexicanos es que comer huevo ,chile,aguacate,limon,frijol eso le produce colicos alos bebes recien nacidos y en ocuaciones algunas volvemos a comerlos ya cuando el bebe tiene 3 meses 😊y sobre no tomar cosas frias eso ya depende de t x k en el hospital cuando uno tiene a su bebe lo k nos Dan es agua con hielo..

Yes. So grateful too see videos like this. I sure don't have that privilege. My mom passed 10yrs ago before my son. My in laws are older. So between me and my Husband it's pretty hard. My son will be back in school n then having 2 under 1 will be difficult but I know I'm have my melt downs but I got this. Just harder to show my oldest love with 2 babies needing me. I'm grateful for the time my husband takes off work. These videos make my day alot brighter n better.

AGREE ON 2nd postpartum 😢LOL! I’m 7 weeks postpartum. ❤ My daughter is 9 and I read her messages to her Nana. She voice chatted her and said she “felt so lonely bc mommy and daddy always look at the baby brother. And mommy has no time for me” 😢 omg so sad. 😣😭 I suppose I broke my own heart by reading but I have been trying my best more now to give her plenty of special time with her. It’s so hard for sure.
I didn’t have support postpartum and it was extremely rough and this was with baby one so it was so new and overwhelming. However I had a baby girl and I’m glad it happened in a way. So in the future I know how to be an amazing mom to my daughter during postpartum and be an amazing grandma ❤️❤️ I am so happy you have an amazing support system and can soak up the newborn stage I can’t remember mine 🥺

Am I pregnant, no, am I postpartum no but am I getting teary eyes 🥹 yes. I’m just sitting here thinking about how most of our grandmas would have 5 to 10 kids and to think that they most likely did not have the time to care for each child individually and show them love how they were supposed to because they would have them back to back with no help most of the time makes me sad and it’s just beautiful to see you be an amazing mom to Franco and Belen and how you’re so worried to still make sure Franco feels loved and seen ❤
Nothing like a mother’s care, I went through the same emotions during the night time when I had my last baby. I think it was me having my mom all day and then being on my own at night, it felt like I needed my mommy

Blanca I get you with all your emotions. How babies grow so fast &&’ I just had my third baby seen my two older ones &&’ have mom guilt because my oldest feels like we don’t understand him &&’ my 2 year old is wild I really have to take care of my baby girl because he wants to care her &&’ be kissing her &&’ he has got mad with his dad because he hugs baby girl. So girl it’s been a whole change for us &&’ I have felt guilty about everything. But yet I’m happy at the same time with my family. We got this baby girl ❤ Dios te bendiga 🙏

Okay girl to be honest with you these videos make a little sad. Although the video is beautiful it makes me realize that you’re so blessed to have a mom that loves you and supports you so much. Your first video was the reason I wanted to get pregnant and then quickly realized that was your reality not mine. Beautiful family ❤️ I hope I didn’t sound rude lol not my intention😊
