If you listen to Revenger hard enough, and have a bit of imagination, one could actually begin to imagine the song to be sang with the vocals in it ^^ that's prolly the reason why I like it a lot ^^
Indeed, when i get moon dwellers for pc i will go with calvina first sure, i like more her robot because is more tactical and i like how her final attack changr depends of the sub-pilot, touya one is more punch and kick without any science (also i prefer accuracy over power, i hate A portable...)
I was lulled a little bit by the sound of Revenger, but when I heard Guardian Angel, I was like "whoa, this is what I'm talking about". Problem is, both themes have a feel and tempo contrary to their names. If they switched them around, it'd be perfect.

Touya, while a total wimp, does have the "I can't do it!" to "I'm a man!" transition through the game. Their attitudes reflect differently, but they were exposed to different situations. Hell, if you pay attention early in the game, Gai pulls in Touya along with Akito to watch some Gekiganger III, and while it isn't the primary reason for his change, Touya found it appealing. Plus, Calvina is usually calm and cold. Usually. She's only crazy because she remembers her past. Touya's starts off like a Shinji or a Kira or an Akito. Then he becomes similar to Kouji.
It should be the other way around when it comes to the mechs (I think) Touya seems more of the "I'm an unexpirenced real robot pilot", while Calvina is the "I'm gonna kick your ass with the super robots!!!" But this is just one guy's opinion.
When you put it that way, I myself would've liked Touya to be the kickass "Time for revenge" type. So he'd roar with all his attacks and be a loner instead of being the tenchi in harem of girls. Though that wasn't really a bad thing, lol.:D
urm...not what I meant....though it would bring a lot of lulz and "wtf's" to the whole SRW community XD, you'd have to be drunk/stoned not to be stunned if that were to happen.

Even though he does get better, it's because the Orgone Extractor drills manliness into his subconsciousness against his will every time he pilots. Calvina was better when I didn't know she was a raging hysterical yandere psychopath.
Yeah, I can't wait to see them in a OG game. I have sure that all mechs will be awesome, as well as Touya and Calvina because Banpresto never disappoints in a OG game. And I'm very curious to know who will be their voice actors.

Revenger is one of the few themes that managed to sound great in J, even with the limited quality. Thanks for the upload.

banpresto needs to do one of two things if not both... remake srw J or include the original J characters and mechs in the next OG game
they will not remake J anytime soon
they will however, include J in the next main OG game... :3 that one is for certain
