I doubt that the dynamo on the right is devoid of its internal components and only a column and an earphone battery, and this is clear because it is impossible to give an increase in voltage to the other because it is at one level.

I think the motor on the right (the one besides the switch) isn't a motor I think he disassembled it and inserted a small battery inside and the botton is a lock botton so first the circuit was open then when he pressed the botton it closed and stayed like that and that's why he removed the external battery quickly and also you can tell that this motor has for sure been disassembled before by looking at the holding pins or whatever it called

2. Wood is one thick piece, so no battery is in it.
I think the battery is inside the switch button, like the battery for small toys or wrist watch. When you look at 4:10 when he connect the battery using wire to transfer energy and press the switch first before releasing it. Also look at the switch, it's thick i'm sure the small rounded batteries are inside of it😅
