In this example I take a first look at an upgraded PRS SE 245 Standard - on loan to me for my independent review.

    This PRS: SE 245 upgraded with Seymour Duncan Shop Floor Custom TB-11 Custom Custom trembucker bridge pickup and a standard Pearly Gates neck pickup with a nickel silver cover, Tone Ninja steel locking studs, braided shield 22 gauge cloth push-back wire, Switchcraft 3-way switch, Bourns 500k low-friction volume pots and 250k no-load tone pots (e.g. EVH), Astron vintage .033uF 600v PIO capacitors, Grover strap locks and auto-locking tuners with tortoise shell buttons, D'addario XL Regular Light Gauge 10-46 strings, Vintage Forge metal switch tip and genuine PRS amber lampshade knobs, blank truss rod cover and black pickup rings.

    I upgrade prs se custom24 with same pickups! I got a 5708 prs pickup on neck and seymour duncan tb11 on the bridge. What a coincidence!

    Amazing video Robert! I would like switch the bridge pickup and put TB-11 too. What do you think about distortion now? Is it open or sound is darkness ? I asked because PRS has a mahogany. I thought about JB too but I think that has much output. Success o/

      The TB-11 may not be the best choice for this guitar, it appears to be best with brighter tone woods. I really like the TB-14 that I played for this one.
