What an incredible video. I wish there would be such a well organised and structured video for other decks. Keep it up, I am curious how Ghoti will playout into the meta.
I love what ur doing for the deck! 🔥 I started labbing a punk SHS ghoti pile based on ur SHS video cuz the white aura stuff felt a bit inconsistent, but i might have to go back and give the WA another try, especially cuz it definitely had the funnest combos!
I was thinking how to improve the consistency of the white aura package and luckily I found your video. That combo with Coelacanth, Bahamut and Toad is amazing. Do you consider running one harpooner is fine for the last ghoti deck? Or would you run more copies?
Hello. 1xHarpooner copy should be ideal, it's searchable, and we prefer not to loose card advantages from the discard.. There are valid reasons for why someone might run more than 1xcopy, it can still be Normal Summoned to synchro with Sardine, but I think we'll have to wait for the card to be released and actually test it some more to see what is best.
@@deepseadarew6012 I agree. It is necessary to wait for the card release to test it, but i think one copy seems to be ideal because it is searchable. The card is great, but I don't know if it's good enough to run more copies. Thanks a lot :D
Which version of Ghoti do you think is the best? 1- White version 2-Pure Ghoti with the fusion spells 3-The SHS version I personally think it's probably the SHS, I played the white version alot and it hurts the deck alot that it doesn't really have 1 card combos and I used to brick alot on white sardines
SHS, Pure, then White Aura. To be consistent with White Aura, you need cards like Swamp Eel, Tuna and Prosperity. Most people aren't using these cards though. There is a way to mix White Aura with SHS, I will make a video on that soon.
@@AlexandreAtkinson That wasn't on his list. Personally, I don't like ranking variants by 'best version' because there really is none. They all have different ways of playing and different flaws, which make some decks better or worse depending on the deck you are facing. SHS can't run Imperm for example, so in a meta where Imperm is the best handtrap, SHS would not be the most preferable to play. Their overall power and consistency is all pretty much on a similar level.
Have you tried summoning oyster meister from superdeep king? Opens unusual level access with lvl 1 token, like tatsunoko or martial metal marcher. Also zealantis can reset deepsea king.
The consistency of the deck is lowered when you add cards like Oyster, Greethys, or FishborgLauncher because these cards don't form 2 card combos with a lot of cards, so they can brick you. So if you run these cards you need a really good reason to, like an end board that is only attainable with these cards. Zealantis is a good card. White Aura Water locks, so we can also use it to wipe the board. It would good to squeeze it in the extra-deck if you can find the space :)
Question: at 5:26, you activated Keaf to bounce the special summoned monster. Isn't this an illegal play, since at trigger you didn't have monster zones you could special summon to? I've talked to judges and they've said it is.
It's legal. Keaf works differently because it's an "if you do effect". So first Keaf banishes itself, so now one of your zones are empty, then if you banished you can trigger the next effect to Special Summon.
In this combo oriented version, have you considered doing the link 2 mermail before the 5th summon ? It Can ignore nibiru cause, her effect foolish pciis, summon pciis from graveyard and go on
Mermail Abyssalacia needs to be destroyed by an opponent's card effect or attack. Nibiru doesn't destroy it tributes. We will probably get an out to Nib when we get the Ice Barrier support that lets you summon Toad before the 5th summon.
@@madjester9844 Yes, SHS with White Aura is a variant I've been working on. I have IB World Legacy in that deck :) Wakaushi + Mermaid can end with Coelacanth on the field. I don't know if IB will be useful in Pure White Aura though. I haven't found a line yet.
cant wait for these to comeout to MD. seems like a huge upgrade

we need more data-driven deck building like this. good stuff sir
I won my OTS championship with this deck. Granted it was only 12 players but the deck so much fun.
