In India trains runs late mostly in severe cold season in northern part. Also in India train covers 1000km to 2000 plus kilometre passing through different terrain
Perhaps now you appreciate the Swiss trains more for being in time, for cleanliness, for huge leg room in 2nd class also, and whole train is AC. Once in India you know that each of those cost extra seperately. But it also does mean that in India there is a mode of travel available for the poorest.

It's indeed great that the train arrived on the dot. Thanks a bunch for the train tour....not crowded and the seats looked comfy. Have a wonderful time with loved ones and friends in Basel, Sir and family. Best regards and see all of you in the next video.
All the while that I’m watching your video with you and the family, all I could think of was the film The Cassandra Crossing with Sofia Loren and Richard Harris and what was happening in the movie.
Railways in Europe are way advanced compared to Indian railways in terms of speed, comfort, punctuality, connectivity, cleanliness etc. And from another point of view Indian Railways has been doing a miraculous job in transporting more than 23 million Indians per day, which is nearly about 4% of the entire population of Europe all countries combined. By the way I am from Pakistan.
Come try the Choo Choo trains in UK!! You be lucky to use one as there is always strikes, delays and wrong type of leaves on the tracks!!! It’s an experience one have do in a lifetime!! 😂😂😂😄
Just the other day I read that if all the parked trains in India are occupied with people it would equal the population of Switzerland. No wonder that daily we transport people equal to the population of Sri Lanka.
True...traveling around europe on train is expensive even with eurail. I was doing budget for train rides from london - amsterdam - frankfurt - interlaken - lucerne - basel - paris - london ...cost almost USD500...with additional costs for reserve seats....then decide to scrap the itinerary and make new one with just take eurostar from london - amsterdam - paris - london this time around hahaha
Hello! Nice to see you & your family in your own country. Would be good to know more about which city you were born in Switzerland & how & where you & your wife met & your decision to travel the world & for how long you plan on doing it.
I able to recollect the days when I took train from Zurich to Basel then to Bern and back to Zurich. Indeed expensive.Srinath (Copenhagen/Hyderabad (India)
I remember his old video on an Indian train. It was an unreserved compartment and full. The family was standing and suddenly we see his wife and then small baby seated. And he tells us how couple of passengers got up and gave her their seat. And he mentions "this will only happen in India".
Hi dear, I visited your country in 2013 and in 2023. I love it. Beautiful. I have seen, basil station, on the way coming from Germany. Your country is pure magic .
Ahh pretty much relatable, I use this train service twice in a week To and From Zurich, and I love the journey and train ofcourse (because I have GA card 😉).
Glad to see you all reach home safely 😊 You guys have a tremendous amount of resilience. Could you let us know what your favorite state is in India? Also I would be interested to know how much you all miss the food in India? Tc

Meanwhile India ( 🇮🇳) is full of corruption, dirt, no merit based job, high tax paying citizens getting nothing in return and so on. No value of human life in India. You are lucky to be a swiss.

I think Indian railways network more than 10 time Big form swiss railways and running in govt undertaking.but swiss railways run by many private company
India just has too low resource::population ratio. Unless that improves, it won't catch up, which means population will have to reduce to 100 million or so.
Very beautiful and lovely scenario in Switzerland. Switzerland is World richest countries. But if you visited India and other country you do lots of talk to people and express your happiness with them. In Switzerland people don't pay attention to the other people activities. You and your family also didn't talk or any queries with Swiss people in your vlogs.
The reality of train stations, and trains in Europe, big, expensive, declining public usage, empty platforms, meals and tickets nobody can afford any more, future uncertain due to declining patronage.
Uttarakhand in India is a Small state And this state is bigger in population and area than Switzerland! So India is very big in area and huge in population. No Comparision
You pay a lot of money in order for train services to be better, plus, there is less corruption in your country more than any other country in Europe ! Taking all the lately said info into consideration, for me, it is normal train compared to Switzerland as a country ! I have visited Istanbul, Turkey for three weeks and their trains are in better condition and on time all the time ! They have phone applications to follow trains leaving time, and they never exceeded their time even 1 second !
This is a very normal train, there are better ones even in Switzerland, they are totally overpriced but nowhere people make more money so the Swiss don't care. But they are very punctual, on the second, not like many trains I have taken in Turkey though....
Why would you say something like that? Absolutely not true... People who don't develop claim something like that. What ever is right for one is right for one. Try to think outside the box.
In India and many other country you do lots of talk to the common people and express your happiness during talk. But during Switzerland trip in your video you and your family do not talk or ask anyone neither they pay attention towards you however it is your mother land. it seems swiss people are very reserve by nature & less talkative. Yes Switzerland is a very beautiful & prosperous country as well as most punctual in every respect. Happy journey sir to your home town.😊
